i've been lookin at the dep rate of these cars for a while now. from what i can gather, they seem to lose around <5k a yr (base model). do u reckon its possible or safe to say that we'll see the 350z around the < 41k mark at the beginning of next yr (jan, 2006) ? lowest price ive seen a 350z go for was $45000 and the the lowest price for a rx-8 was $39000. just like our belovered R34 which had a price tag of 45-47k in 2003 and it dropped significantly in 2004. maybe im dreaming, but anything is possible. i say this becoz i want a 350z bad but ive only got around 40k to spend. what are your opinions ?

lmao, lets hope . i wouldnt be surprised if turbo do end up costing the same as non turbo. then again insurance dont care, they'll give ya a policy and when it comes to claming, they'll probably use the RTA rule as an excuse to knock u bak.

Not sure if this has been posted, i havent seen a thread on this yet. basically, the RTA site now has a list of cars that cannot be driven whilst on P1-P2. plus in addition to turbo and SC cars, HIGH PERFORMANCE NA vehicle such as 350Z, BMW Z3 etc cannot be driven whilst on P1-P2. also to note, the list will be updated regularly. anywayz, go check it out. very interesting. ohh, theres also exemptions for "low" performance "family" turbo cars. what da hell is a low performance family turbo car ? dont tell me its that boxy 0.8L turbo car ? :whatsthat

personally i have never seen one on the road. but theres heaps of them in europe. i know they get imported into aus all the time. looks good. similar to an old series boxy tarago but with more power.

so u want 2 skylines in the end? if u want a virgin, steer clear from the gtr32, coz most of them are modded. but the r33 is your best bet. best of luck with your purchase.
