how much does an engineering cert cost? did you have to clear the defects first to get the engineering cert?

Hi I need some advice on clearing my defect notices as this is my first time. The cop had give me defects for pod filter not boxed exhaust does not comply with ADR front mount does not comply BOV vents to atmo pedals with no rubber gauge on a pillar I have to take it to AUVIS and it was maked full inspection. Is that just a blue slip? Can anyone tell me where in the Liverpool area i can get this cleared? I have already taken of the pedals and gauge and put but on stock BOV. The major problem that i have now is the exhaust, front mount and pod which i don't have the standard parts for. Will i pass if i got my exhaust quieten or does it have to be standard? Pod i could make a box out of aluminum. Front mount i don't know The stupid thing that the cop wrote on the defect paper was that he wrote that my car was skyline GTR when own a gtst Any help will be much apreiated

I called up Deloitte today and the reason I got outstand debt was that Multi Trax records showed that I haven't paid for 4 months which was back in July 2007. I found that to be really stupid cause if I haven't been paying for those 4 months then my service would of been cancelled back then. I showed them my bank statement of those months showing that payments have been taken from my account now I don't have an outstanding debt with them. This goes to show that they will do anything to get extra cash from unsuspecting people.

I just received a letter from Delotte stating that I have an outstanding debt and this is my final notice to pay. But this is the first time that I have received this letter. I didn't even know that quiktrax was gone till last month. The thing is I was on a month to month payment and the last payment deducted from my account was on the 28/08/08. Quiktrax cease montioring on the 16/09/08, so the most i owe is month $36. But they saying I owe $144 which is 4 months worth of monitoring Can they charge me for the remaining months for the year. I don't see how they can charge me for a service which is not there anymore. What other options do I have?

You got to make sure the model number matches to the right coilovers/car. I brought one 2 yrs ago for my r33 and it turns out that the rear motor didn't fit (thread size was was bigger). Think it was meant for RX7 or something. Lucky i got my refund back but was disappointed was a bargin too.

I just want to set a low boost setting, but it seems like the lowest i can get the boost is abt 0.8 bar and thats with the duty set to 20%(lowest it can go).

I just installed mine on the weekend. I got a hks2540 on my R33. At first i set it at 30% and i got a boost reading of abt 0.9 bar. I had to set the duty to the lowest it can go (20% duty) and i get abt 0.75 bar. It just doesn't look right with a low duty. I did the tuning in 2nd gear, i read i should do it with 3 rd gear but too afraid to be doing it on public roads as i got caught trying to tune the boost before. Don't want that happening again (not too good for the wallet) Just wondering what duty other people have it set and if you got a bigger turbo than stock. Thanks

My GF just got a new honda jazz and we had it fitted with a sunroof. The dealer told us that this wasn't a stardard option from honda. He told us that the sunroof that was going to be put in was going to be done by the company who puts it on BMW (forgot the name of the company). I have to say it was done very nicely. Full electronic control. Makes me want to get one for my R33 but i would rather do the performance first. It cost us an extra $2500 for the sunroof.

I was told by a friend who is a apprentice mechanic that putting diesel fuel in ur engine oil is better at getting rid of gunk and cheaper than buying the engine flush from auto stores. Has anyone heard of this or know if it true?

Cut the plug as in cutting the avcr wires or the rubber plug on the firewall? If you cut the rubber plug how did you do it as i have no access to it with the abs unit in the way.

For those who installed AVC-R in a R33 S2, could you tell me how you got the wiring from the engine bay to the cabin? I tried to do it myself but found out that the abs unit was blocking the access to the rubber bit on the passanger side. What other ways can i get the wiring through the firewall?
