  1. your on drugs i have play the game and its not hard lol
  2. how is gameplay complicated you just drive around a track lol...
  3. the one that goes in here
  4. Nismo twin plate... would never use anything else. ran one in my gts-t with over 350hp lots of track work (lots and lots of drift e.g clutch kicking) took the clutch out and it looked brand new had been in the car for atlest 3years. was very streetable with no rattle and not super hard, was easier to drive than my old 5puk button clutch and alot nicer on my gbox/drive-train
  5. I would say you VCT is working. We replace a broken VCT and with the broken one when you open the throttle on idle you can't hear anything but with a working one there is a very noticeable click. The car was an r33 with a hks 2835 pros with no VCT it was a dog low down, once it hit 4000-5000rpm it just pick up aheap of power and was very untuneable due to the huge change in such a small rev range. so my guess is your VCT is working, best way is to just unplug it take it for a drive, see how it drives, plug it back in and see if it is any different. And yes a block cat wouldn't help the flow out of the exhaust so could possible be that, BUT i really thinking there is nothing wrong for the amount of boost you are running.
  6. that looks normal for a gt-rs, most people make between 300-350rwhp @ 16psi. however it does look laggy. i was making full boost by 3300rpm with my hks gt2835 pros which is a larger turbo. what size is your exhaust?
  7. having driven and work on an r33 with no vct and similar turbo (hks gt2835 pros), i can tell you if the VCT isn't kicking in the car will have no pull or power under 5000rpm. as paul mention very easy to pick on the dyno
  8. R33 and R34 GTR are the same so i would assume that r33 gts-t and r34 gt-t are the same
  9. yeah, just so i can join up all my hks piping kit (do not like the blue silicone wanting black)
  10. can i ask the cost of the 1m length? I guess my piping is different as im using a HKS kit. been looking at afew places and would perfer to use samco silicone but most places have told me 4-6weeks wait on black
  11. sorted it out need 2.50inch and 3.25inch now to find some in black
  12. yep they are also available for the r33, if i remember correctly something like 50,000 or 60,000yen for a pair not cheap!
  13. Hi, Just looking for some information regarding what size silicon joiners to get for my gtr (r32), will be replacing all I/c piping. So far i have worked out the pipe size of the turbo size to be 60mm (2.3inch) and 80mm (3.14inch) Do i just go one size up for the silicon? (im ordering from the us, so can't test fit before buying)
  14. ROFL... yes because HSD is alot better quality then tein
  15. thanks, for the info
  16. Hi, Looking for some input in anyone who has run the following tyres on a gtr. I have limited my choice down to the following 3 Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec Potenza RE-11 ADVAN Neova AD08 In 255/40/R17 I had a quick look at both Pirelli (P-Zero) and Michelin (Pilot Sport) however all the review had a similar theme great tyres but extremely poor life. Which is an issue as i will be running these tyres on the street and maybe the odd track day (Until my RE55s arrived). I'm heading towards the Advan as they seems to give very good grip and also have good life (tyres can be rotated side to side unlike the RE-11) Not really heard much about the Direzza here in australia? Any input would be great
  17. looks good makes me miss the r33 did you end up getting it painted?
  18. lol i wonder if they will move qualit to 2morrow just before the race?
  19. Hi Just wondering if it is possible to replace the dump pipes on a r32 gtr while the engine is still in the car? Do the turbo need to come out or is it possible to do it with the turbo still in? Cheers
  20. i bought my bn sport kit from ebay quality is ok for the price, think the front bar cost me around $300 + $150 in shipping. Spraying is anywhere from $200-$500 for a front bar
  21. i haven't set a figure, it was more like how much money i get from parting out my previous track car. so as i sell stuff i buy stuff for the gtr
  22. lol sif! this is budget track car build not most shiny bits
  23. Yeah that was my worry . was a rather last second decisions to buy the rims and i was 99% sure i won't win them at the price i bid, however i did! So will most likly swap my street tyres onto the nismo rims and use my advan for track stuff (they are 9.5j +19) and see how that goes. What guard was fouling the front or rear? (or both) Risking not sure if that was directed at me or not but my last track car was far from a posser race car lol so i think the gtr will be fine. Thanks Djr about the turbo info. i am thinking if my goal is speed event series then the gt-ss or garrett similar will be the go, whatever i can find cheapest at the time.
