  1. umm not really... maybe do some driver training days or some mc days or something like that maybe even some grip track days to get your general driving skill up... drifting isn't that hard once you get a feel with ur car... just go out there smash the handbrake/brake/gas counter and hold.... try new things untill u find something that works for you ALSO you will find that you can damage your car at the track too, got to watch urself they are a few walls and if u come off @ speeds u may hit them hard and do some big time damage
  2. i bought myself a hks GT2835 PRO S its rate @ 420ps (its a step up from the GT-RS, more power not alittle less responds than the rs) and i didnt have pfc or injectors or bigger afm... i had a tomie fuel pump thou... In the end i ended up getting the pfc, 740cc nismo injectors (only $50 more than the 550cc) and a z32. and i've put that all on now and going to put my turbo on this weekend then get a tune asap. Chaning the turbo can become a very costly project, in the beginning i through i could just throw the turbo on and it would all be fine but i was very wrong.... if your goal is 250rwkw (335rwhp), then you will need larger injectors for sure, along with a bigger afm (something like a z32 or q45).It is also always good to have some susepsion mods are you want to be able to put the power to the ground and you need a good clutch to do that also Just to give you an idea here is a full list of my mods hks cat-back + trust front + hks dump pipe Z32 Afm + apexi Filter + cai box D2 coilovers + rg castor rods + 17inch rims - button clutch nismo 740cc + fmic + hks turbo + pfc + profec a ebc thats about it i think
  3. nice uneducated reply there.... Some jap drifters dont run bov, as they belived it gives them better responds..... and did the vl turbo come stock without a bov? i dont see a holden or anyone making a car which the turbo will blow up after u run it for a few months
  4. what other mods do you have? the GT-RS is rate @ 400Ps, there is no point getting the turbo unless you have a pfc, larger injectors (550cc), full exhuast, fmic, a heavy duty clutch, fuel pump etc etc... also check out http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=55845 for result on this turbo
  5. ahaha Chi, Tomj was saying that some people just uses any "industrial area"
  6. thats what the prastice night are for.. you learn just to give you an idea on the price it cost Cam L2NS $50 or if you want L2S its about $60 or $80 a year WASCC $200 or so a year Practise nights $50 Plus you got the cost of tyres and other random stuff.... but when you just start out a set of stockers will be for you

  10. i had a similar problem :S change my coilpacks from stock to splitfire fix the problem
  11. ok yes an aftermarket atom bov makes the car run rich, but so does any mod with a stock ecu :S if you install it right and have the spring set right.... you wont have a problem ps i find stock bov leaks tooo much for my liking, i would run gtr bov but my intake pipe to my turbo is missing the pipe that plums back the bov hehhe
  12. can use on any cam
  13. http://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/83843404 about $4207 + shipping i would say the quote price for 5.8 is alittle high but if that incs tax then maybe its about right just to give you and idea of cost of shipping for 20kg by ems(air) = is about $300 and i find its best to buy the kit then buy stuff seperate, as you get alot of stuff in the kit that you wouldn't get normal and there no stuffing around everything bolts up
