ahaha, that sounds just about right im just tring to work out the cost, as i havnt bought this turbo yet and im tring to work out if the total cost in the end is really worth buying it

1. I then send the money to my buyer in japan and we wait for the item to arrived in perth 8.Once i get the item, i will contact you, and we can set up a time and place to drop off the item or pick it up I need to make one point very clear, there is ALWAYS a chance that the item you have bid on isnt what you wanted (e.g the condtion isnt that good); this is the risk involded in buying from a place like yahoo auction. I have found that it is better to stay away from the cheaper auction (for example a trubo which says it may have shaft or a turbo which state there is no shaft play; the price difference is not worth the risk of getting a fcuk turbo) Also just to add, i can't get big items like bodykits,exhuast etc etc because due to the size, we must uses different shipping method and the cost is very very pricey and in the end doesnt work out to be cheaper

not a problem, i cant really get in big stuff like bodykits etc, but stuff like turbos, fmic, engine parts, even rims are within the size i can get (just on that note i saw 2 WORK CR-Kai rims sell for only 15,000yen just under $200 in perfect condition with perfect tyres on them, pretty good if you ask me)

Hey, I through i post this up for wa members as i have seen alot of traders now offer to buy parts from yahoo auction, the only problem i have found is that there buyer fee is pretty high between 15 to 25%. I've got myself a dude that helps me out and has bought alot of parts for me from yahoo. I was just wondering if anyone is interested in buying something, you could drop us a pm as i would be more than happy to help out wa members as it would work out pretty easy for me and you guys, just for you guys to get a feel for things there are a few hks gt2540 and 2530 turbos for sale at the monent to suit rb20/25 all of them u can buy now for around $800 to $1000 (maybe cheaper depending how many people bid) then you just got to add shipping which depending on method (lets say turbo weight is 10kg) it would cost ya about $100 by boat take about 4-6weeks and about $250 by air which takes about 5 - 7days, then add the bank fees and local transport cost in jap (from auction seller to my mate) your most likly looking at getting it for around 1.5k if not under the only problem is that you can say you never not what you are getting, it could be moring 100% or it could be a POS but again thats the risk you take, most of the ones for sale at the moment are good clean ones which have done few km one has done about 5000km i think so almost new. again just tring to help anyone out if they want, like i said feel free to drop us a pm cheers michael p.s mods if there is something wrong with this thread plz delete im not tring to be a bussiness and sell stuff just tring to help other wa members out

I think the issue of having to run the car without the Cat is a major issue for manufacturers and which they wouldnt be able to over come, also by the sounds of things were talking about a street car which would only uses antilag now and then, not all the time

cheers for the reply i agree with the comments about the exhuast, the cat would not stand a chance. Now that you have given me any idea about the lvl of the temp the turbo will go through when antilag is uses, i should be able to calucator if the turbo will be able to hold the temp, just need to find the grade of steel/metal uses in the turbo, if anyone has any idea please post up cheers

i love this comment; (im currently studing mech eng, so i do alot of study relating to materials, chem etc etc) lets take an example for you, it is very common for aftermarket turbos to come with steel wheel correct? depending on the grade of steel uses in the wheel; The Tensile Strength of Mild steel is 450MPa and has High Ductility, Just using a random Max temp from the net for Steel is 870C. Now Antilag itself does the following retarding ignition timing so far as to cause the exhaust valve to open well into the power cycle, resulting in extremely hot and explosive gases rushing past the turbine, spinning the turbo up therefore reduing lag. Now antilag will not be running all the time only when lag is present and if the users has it switch on; so ruff calulcation would show that the steel would be able to handle the temp, also even if the turbo wheel is under CREEP, it shouldnt affect the wheel greatly as it would take along time for the affects to show Also i know numerals cars which run antilag constantly, all of them are WRX, i have never seen this antilag on a nissan in real life but i would like to try it myself when i get my aftermarket turbo cheers michael edit: also the heat which is resulted from the antilag, will only be a few seconds and would not be closes together therefore the steel in the wheel will be able to cool down and therefore the affect of the heat would be greatly reduces

i found the movie funny, tring to fit like stage 1,2 into 1 movie didnt really work, i couldnt follow the story lines and at time i was tottaly losts, good try but it didnt follow the anime story line all that well, and i didnt like it

The gtr plenum has 6 throttles, and its ment to be very good for responds, dont know if it would have the same affect on the 25 as it does on the 26

im abit confused about stock r33 gtst running high 14,15scond my r33 GTS-T has a rb20 size turbo (yes very small) and i did a 14.3 with only exhuast and air filter?
