my sources is me, i was 17 and tring to get insurance last year, the car was in my father name, we call up god knows how many people which call said the same thing, we will insurace you *being my father* but we will not insurace ur son as a part-time driver (even if it was only once a week), Then we got the odd, yes that is fine but due to ur son age he must be place as 1st driver I was under the impression that HBF, would not insurace anyone under the age of 21 if the car was a import,turbo (this information has given to me by the person i bought the car off, he work for HBF in the insurance department)

That trick no longer works, as insurance companies now have a policy that the "YOUNGEST Driver must be the 1st driver on the policy" doesnt matter if the car is in there name or not

cheers for the reply, i through it may have been the problem; didnt think they would last 100,000km but i gave them ago, by any chance would hitting the limiter lot foul the plugs?

it shouldnt be the plugs, as they are platium and have only been in the car for like 10,000km

Hey, My car seems to be missing from 5000rpm to about 5500rpm, it happens mostly in 3rd and 4th gear (have not noticed it in 1st and 2nd). Its just like when my plugs werent gap right. Is it my plugs again or coil-packs? cheers michael

Hey, Just after some help, im damage my front bar again This time i've got about 3weeks free (yay holidays) so im going to fix it right. Im going to go with the basic sets of 1.clean frontbar 2.place fiberglass matts 3.Bog (or fiberglass with metal reinforcments) Then i would like to sand down the front and respray it, Does anyone have any idea what type of sand paper i should uses to sand the front down, so its ready to be primed. Also how much bog/fiberglass should i uses, as i only uses abit before and when i hit the front bar again this time, it seems to hold pretty good, also what method should i uses to remove the bog which i put on the frontbar in the beinging? limiter + missing or damage cat, just give ur car a good thrash, then just sit on the limiter for abit

that isnt ture, im 18 drive an r33 gts-t, and have yet to have a problem with the cops, i have bene pulled over about 3times now, each time the cop was nice had a talk to me about my car and about my mods, never got a yellow or had a cop be an asshole too me, i say its the persons attitude (spelling)

I got a set in my r33 gts-t, i pay $1400 install got 1 year warrerty too, awsome setup, to adjust the height u dont change the spring rate, but u can adjust the spring rate but only by abit. Very easy to setup, to adjust the damper you just spin the top left or right, hieght is very easy can do with the front wheels on if you know what your doing

JiMiH, it has never been check out it seems to be the size of an rb20 turbo, as it makes no where near the power it should at 12psi if it was an rb25 turbo. Would this have an affect on the boost dropping? Im also 100% the ebc was tune when i had it on the dyno after my fmic was installed

meh, ive used regular, premiun (shell) and bp 98 in my skyline, i get more km's out of the bp and no pinging I would like to see the test done on a perforance base car, i think the results would be pretty different

Hey, Im having with boost dropping off above 5000rpm, it only happens from 3rd gear up. Im running a Profec A Ebc (im pretty sure it was tune, still unsure of that). Im running 0.8bar but when i hit 5000rpm the boost drops to 0.5/0.4bar. Is this a ebc related problem? should i get it retune or is something else affecting the boost? Car is r33 gts-t rb25det mods: fmic, exhuast (stock dump), air filter, bov Cheers Michael
