  1. there isn't all the bang for buck performance cars are hot hatchs which are all FWD!
  2. Hey, Looking for some info regarding V8 supercar slicks (Dunlop 280/680/17), is it a good idea to run this on a track spec r32 gt-r? My rims are nismo lmgt-4 17x9.5 +15, will the tyres fit on my rims? The car is running around 350-400hp, mild mods nothing crazy, do i risk breaking my drive-train/axles/transfer case if i run the slicks? I am currently using Advan AD08 and find them to be great, but i want more a more track spec tyre Cheers
  3. Hey, I'm looking for some information regarding importing a car made between 1960 and 1975. It will be LHD but that doesn't matter as i am in W.A Does the car have to standard ? FYI the car is a Fiat 500
  4. Hey guys, Will be heading over to italy very soon and looking to book myself a track day at either Monza or Imola. As i have never done anything like this before can anyone point me in the right direction as to many a company that does the hiring of the car and track for the day etc? I know their are companies which do this for the "Ring" so im hoping it will be the same in italy. Cheers
  5. i will have to check to see if i still have my dyno print outs. Nothing else was change when i did the plenum swap if i remember right, i think i even ran the same boost on the retune. Interesting that when the retune was done, the whole tune had to be wipe and start again as everything was out with the gtr plenum on. For me no bottom end loss, the car was more responsive everywhere. The blitz plate are only 100mm thick maybe less. i had the plate which connects to the head slightly ported to suit the head ports. The kit is now on a friends car, however it is having turbo issue so has not had a proper retune. Will be interesting to see the result he get as it is running an identical setup to what i had (even has my old hks pro s turbo) Edit: just for info the photo i posted was with my newer setup which was running a 3037S however the result were not as good as my engine was dieing, very low compression and eating oil
  6. i didn't lose anything from doing the swap. As XRATED mention it is not the easies swap and does cost abit, however i found no negatives to the swap other than the cost/time it takes to do the swap. Plus it makes the engine bay look so much neater
  7. cheers, knew they wouldn't be cheap
  8. awesome! can i ask how much the Bee R Skirts cost you and were you got them from? trying to source some for awhile
  9. Ran Rb26 plenum with blitz adaptor kit on my rb25 (non-neo) and recommend it. Its not a easy job and my advice would be to take the engine out as it makes the job 100x easier. What needs to be done to make it fit: 1: Adaptor Plates 2: Remove Radiator water outlet on Rb26 Plenum and weld on the rb25 plenum radiator water outlet 3: R33 S1 throttle positioning sensors will bolt onto the rb26 plenum 4: GTR throttle cable (gts-t throttle cable is too long, i just loop mine inside the cabin but its easier to just get a gtr cable) 5: Make a bracket to hold the throttle cable 6: There is a big air box on the underside of the gtr plenum What we did was remove the box and made up a pipe section which allow all the vacuum lines to be connected. This is needed as the std rb25 filter will hit the gtr plenum 7: You will need to use the gtr fuel rail, which means you need to wire in the plugs for the GTR injectors and also wire in the gtr resistor pack for the injectors I think that is about it, if i remember anything else i post up and if you have any question just ask Edit: Also the gains, i pick up around 200-300rpm, before the swap i had full boost around 3300rpm after plenum install was getting full boost around 3000-3100rpm. Will try and find some photos of the conversation
  10. i like them, they are very noises, dusty and do like to eat disc however their stopping power with the AP is great. I have only run endless pads, so got nothing to really compare them too.

  13. Once you drive a gtr you will understand why its a good thing its AWD. When starting my track car build this idea came up and after discussing it for afew pages with the motorsport dudes on the forum. its just not worth it for the gains you get you might aswell just strip the shit out of the gtr as that will be alot cheaper and you will save way more weight. however i still stand by my signature that real race cars are rwd, guess im just a girly man
  14. guess so but if the plan is to upgrade to bigger turbo might aswell do it all at once. As im guessing its not as easy to setup the nistune for injector and afm unlike the pfc
  15. best to do everything at once. But ecu(nistune), aftermarket injectors, z32 then get a tune
  16. horsepower cost money. If you get the right supporting mods it is easy to upgrade your turbo to something bigger later on. The main parts which you can't really cheap out on are 1. Fuel Pump ~Nismo or similar all make a bolt in fuel pump $300-$400 2. Injectors ~Nismo or sard $500-$1000 3. Afm ~Z32 $200-$400 4. Ecu ~Nistune
  17. have bought in afew GT-RS kits for fellow wa members, all of them seem to get around the 300-350rwhp mark. Good turbo, comes in a BOLT-ON kit basically has everything you need to bolt it on. It sits in the factory turbo position so when you open the bonnet it will just look like the std turbo does now. i 100% recommend them however at the current exchange rate you will be looking between $3000-$4000 ship if i remember right. If you need more info just ask, i also help installed the last one i got, very easy took half a day
  18. doesn't happen all time just now and then, i just notice it mainly happens in low rpm and light throttle. will get it on the dyno to double check the tune, and might try some of the grounding issue. the only other thing i can thing of if its not the pfc then i might be the box mounted on the coil pack cover (forgets its name)
  19. interesting topic, is this issue only related to normal pfc? I am running dejtro in r32 gtr and have missfiring issue under light load. Have replace spark plugs, coil packs, coil pack harness. it went away but has since come back seems to only happen atm when downshifting + rev matching, low rpm from what i notice under 3000-4000rpm, currently running with o2 sensors off had a chat to my tuner and he wants it back on the dyno to see if its tune related
  20. dont really like the 300 but shit these looks crazy awesome work!
  21. their are 3 for sale atm on yahoo auction, all are over $120,000 AUS
  22. Pretty sure danny @ JPC has one not cheap upwards of $100,000 just for the car, they are a real classic in japan and even the not so good ones sell for alot!
  23. is it a genuine n1 front bumper ? plastic or fiberglass?
