  1. Type R are great, One of the BEST Japenese production car around. For some reason there is a miss conseption that they are slow, they are far from slow. I have 1st hand experience of seeing a type r beat many lighty mod s1x and r3x cars. its amzazing seeing a DC2 Type R with just full exhaust and intake eat up an s15 with up boost, exhaust and airfilter. people who have no idea shit on honda due to the image they have but they are great cars
  2. Hi I need some help ordering pads for my AP Racing CP5200 Calipers; I am ordering ENDLESS CC-rg pads however endless requires the pad thickness (they make upto a max of 21mm). Now i have gone to the AP website and check out the details on the calipers (http://www.apracing.com/info/products.asp?product=4+Piston+Calipers-CP5200+Family+-+152mm+Mounting+Centres+-+16.8mm+thick+pad%3Cbr%3E%3Cimg+border%3D%222%22+src%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.apracing.com%2Fpics%2Fproductpics%2Fcp5200_1.jpg%22%2F%3E_2759_2569) They state Pad Thickness is 16.75mm, however it does not state which disc this is base on. Im currently running 330x30mm disc (im assuming they were normally 32mm but have worn down) Can anyone recommend me what pad thickness to go? Cheers
  3. does not affect drive-ability; i have move mine and didn't touch the tune and the car runs fine
  4. easy job. you don't need to take out the whole dash, just push the seat back as far as you can and you should have no issue undoing the bolts and replacing it
  5. small updates, finally got my 4inch intake pipe made up, also in the processes of making a box for the airfilter Also test fitting the new kit going to run the bn sport kits for drift events (suits the style lol) but will run my nismo bar on time-attack. Will have to make some ducts on the bn bar as the open sections are HUGE! but try some ducts to the brakes Took the car to the track few weeks ago, did a 59.0 seconds on the short track at Barbagello, was a very interesting drive, running my old tune. was only using the wastegate spring so running 16psi and running the old tune which was 18psi on a 2835pros very very laggy, full boost at 4000rpm and every gear change there was lag, Also my endless pads started to die after the 1st few runs so had to take it easy on the brakes. However the car was awesome the next day for the drift prac. amazing at the amount of speed i can carry sliding Still got along way to go regarding suspension setup.... Finding it bit hard to get any info in regarding base setup so me and my mate (who is a ferrari mech) have just been playing around with things so far we have gone with 38psi f/r, dampers +8 and rebound +10 front , dampers and rebound +10 rear (from the softest setting). I was happy with this car was very balance good grip. Will need to change things around for drift as the front end is alittle to grippy and pulls the front end into the apex too much. but overall really happy with how things are going its great to be able to get back on the track after being away from it for 3 years
  6. Looking at getting an aftermarket pulley kit for my rb25, and was wondering if the trust/greddy RB26 pulley kit will fit?
  7. Hey Just after some quick information im running s3 gtr headlights on my r33 gts-t, and was just wondering how different the gtr and gts-t bonnet is? I am looking at going aftermarket bonnet and was wondering if it was worth me buying one to suit s3 gtr rather than gts-t
  8. R33 gts-t 1450kg last time i weight it. Potenza RE001R, Endless 330 slotted disc, N1 brake master
  9. Did some further looking and found that Endless make pads to suit the CP5200 Caliper; Most likely look at getting the CCRg pads. however they do make some circuit pads to suit as well S55G・ME22・ME20・N35S; will have to look into this some more

  12. Car is use mainly for track (drift and time attack no racing yet) however it still gets driven on the street so I can't use a full race pad. Endless make a carbon ceramic pad which is a street/track pad I was looking at getting
  13. Was looking for some endless pads or similar, as im currently running endless pads and very happy with them. did some looking and found that the Calipers are CP5200
  14. here you go roy its very laggy... but seeing as im running my old tune which was a completely different turbo it isn't too bad. spent the most of the night fine tuning the suspension and was pretty happy with it by the end of the night, only problem was my brake pads was completely gone so i was taken it easy and not braking too hard.
  15. Hey, I need some new pads for my Ap Racing Calipers (I think they are CP5555 calipers), they are currently running Endless pads, so im guessing i should be able to use a pad from a gtr or something? Cheers
  16. thats were you fill the tanks up from
  17. Hey Does anyone know any places i can get R33 Overfenders, similar to the ones on a 400R I know some japanese company makes them (cant remeber the name) however they are too big (adds like +30) Thanks
  18. Are you looking at a street tyre or semi slick?
  19. the spring rate works very well with my current setup, no plans to change any of the suspensions compents at this time as I do like the way the car feels on the track just needs fine tuning
  20. Hey I'm looking for some advice on setting up my suspension (rebound and damper adjustment), I'm currently running Tein Type RS (10/10 spring rate) in my R33 Gtst, I have not play with the tein yet and have set both the rebound and damper to the softest setting. I will be taking my car to a track this coming Friday and would like to spend some time fine tuning the suspension while there, The car will mainly be used for drift events, however i would like to go for a neutral/balance setup first and then adjust according for my drift events. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how i should go about adjusting both the rebound and damper and the effects it will have on my car? I don't mind doing some reading so if there is any good books out their for setting up suspension please let me know. Other information about the car: Potenza RE001r, nismo swaybars, nismo arms, RG Castor Rods, Ik tie-rods, still running HICAS, Minor weight removal, nismo 2way lsd, subframe bushes (set into the grip postion) Alignment setup F: -2.5 degree camber 7 Degrees Castor 1 or 2 mm toe out (can't remember R: -1degree camber (or around that) Also If i need adjustments to my alignment setup, please give me your opinions Thanks
