How To Install Rb26 Plenum (Intake manifold) on an Rb25det *work in progress* What is needed: -Complete Rb26 Intake Manifold (inc fuel-rail, injectors) -Blitz Adopter Kit or similar -Intake-side i/c piping -various hoses (fuel lines, heater hoses, coolent lines)* -Rb25 and Rb26 Intake manifold gaskets first set is to completely remove the rb25 intake plenum, i found to make the job easier it was best to remove the throttle body. now this is what it should look like once you remove the stock plenum next was a trail fit the 1st adopter plate next you need to remove the 2 studs; one is far right the other on the far left (i removed them by using a vice-grip) the stud removed the next step is IMPORTANT, because the GTR doesn't have the VCT, the VCT solenoidal hits on the 26 plenum to solve this problem, the water hose section on the rb26 plenum must be chop off and replaced with the 25 water hose section *Im still waiting for this to be done and will update once i get the plenum back*

any chance i could get some pics of this sent? im in the process of installing a hks oil cooler on my r33 and wanted to put in it the same position (just want to see mounting points) thanks

nope s2 headlights will not fit unless you change body parts (front bar, guards etc)

nismo no longer make the side insert for the R33 GTR; but you can still buy the nismo side insert which have GTR on it

Hyperdrive NOR, about 15mins from Subiaco; they serviced my r33 for about 3 years, always good service and good quality work; the only reason why they don;t do it anymore is because i do it myself now you can get mobil 1 from any auto-one or similar place

they look like that because they are cheap copies; the real gandor are electronic but they do not fold in the stock mirrors in my opionion real > copy

i have one in my r33; yes it will fit into your gtr unless the dash comes with the epson ej1 driving emotion system; its pretty much useless; the epson system is extremmely rare and hard to find, another option is to buy the new HKS CAMP 2 system which is very similar. the dash has an RCA input in the rear and a plug which has 2 wires (one for the power the other for the ground) some info on the hks camp-2 system

looks like im going to have to find a way to remove the top nut on the tb :@ might just chop it off as i wont be using the plenum anymore just keeps spinning when i try to remove it

Hey, i am in the processes of removing the plenum on my rb25 (r33); I'm taking the top half of the plenum off 1st; at this point i have removed all bolts pending 2 which are on the underside and are the 2 closes to the firewall. does anyone have any tips how to get to these 2 bolts? i the last one shouldn't be a problem as i can come in from the side but the second last one is f*kk! i can't go from under the car because there is about 4hoses in the way and i try to remove the throttle body but one of my nuts (top one) is f**ked and wont come off :@ any tips would be great thanks!

after the 1st stop ferrari didnt changed their tyres, Hamilton did. thats when hamilton started pulling away from kimi.... So how can u called worn tyres and brand new ones? the same? interesting race; Ferrari's needs to sort out their strategy; maybe an issue with the car who knows'; ecu map possible some of Massa spin looked like he wasn't even on the gas but that is racing interesting to see what both Ferrari drivers have to say

Nissan figures for the N1 R34 GTR are the same as the normal gtr 280hp or kw or watever it is. i really don't care what wheels magazine did. nissan did not modified the r34 ztune it is a NISMO built/badge vehicle. and your comment out the nsx-r, gt3 rs etc are also a fail because the ztune where produced in 2006 or 2007. and the R34 GTR had stop production in 2000. so if i remember nismo bought back a 20 r34 gtr and built them up to z-tune specs. so its very different to say a nsx-r or any other of the cars u mention. also you fail if you think the s2000 is a pos... open your mind ... GTR isn't the be all and end all of cars

you fail the n1 did not have 420hp from stock the z-tune is a limited edition made by nismo, comparing two different cars there again the video i posted was purely to make a point.
