  3. why are you only running 95 oct fuel?
  4. this is where i get all my f1 stuff from its wonderful http://www.racing-underground.com/
  5. interesting, where on the pfc h/c does it show the VCT setting, as i might have alook see at mine
  6. what are the benefits of retaining the VCT? and is it as simple as removing that section of the gtr plenuming and welding the gts-t part on?
  7. Tomei Black Face - Boost - $100 Tomei Black Face - Ext Temp -$150 Blitz Black Face - Boost - $50 Apexi EL2 Water Temp Gauge (black face) - $150 All gauges come with senors items in perth but will ship (buyer pays shipping)
  8. +1 for endless, running their slotted disc with my ap's and they love the abuse
  9. when was the last time apexi update the powerfc? And last time a check Apexi are no longer producing alot of its PFC models best value for money? no thank you $1500 for a basic ecu (r33/r34 prices) - when you can get the ultimate which does exactly the same as what the pfc does for alot less ($1000 or under) oh and it has more function than the pfc too so what is the greddy is a piggy back? why does that make such a bad ecu?
  10. any idea when the kit will be available to purchases? as after exchanging emails with the Japaneses supplier, they said some parts need to be changed and welded which i'm not very keen on, Does your kit required anything similar or is it just a swap setup? and will you be running an adopter to use the rb25 acc value or adopter to run the 26 acc value on the 25? wish you were located in perth
  11. hks 2835 pros or hks gt-rs
  12. powerfc is old and overpriced. E-manage Ultimate is the best replacement for the pfc. people seem to think it just another safc but it is far from that and is alot better than the pfc in my books. able to have more than one map sorted in the ecu and change maps on the fly by a flick of a switch, launch control, ignition cut limiter just to name some of its features. seem one in action and if the tuner knows what he/she is doing they are a great ecu. their are cars in Japan running over 500hp with the ultimate (Trust/Greddy D1 s15 for example)
  13. every 100,000km is the general rule
  14. Hyperdrive did mine was very happy )
  15. just out of interested, how do places like nengun or greeline ship items which can be easily damaged? do they just pack it normally or do they add bubblewrap, newspaper and write on the box that it is fragile ?
  16. gav you can spend money on me and i promise i will put out too lol
  17. ahah thanks by the way just to let everyone know All Star Garage is close till the 12th of March
  18. f*k that
  19. 235 is a good size for around 300-350hp. there is always a pay off with increasing the size of tyre. sometimes its better to go for a softer compound then to increase the size. I guess it just depends what works for the person. i find 235 give enough grip for me to drift at top end of 3rd gear but if i was to try 4th gear drifting i would like to run a softer compound before looking to go to a 255. Also depends what level you are at, as one of the top perth drivers found that when they went into DA event that they could not keep up with the speeds due to their tyre size and had to go from a 235 to a 255 to achieved the speeds they wanted
  20. yes but they are also running some hardcore tyres like RE-01R for example which is the top on the line potenza street tyre. nearly all the PRO d1 drivers run 265. the reason to run larger tyres as it makes it easier to drift at higher speeds. i wouldn't like to be entering a turn at 180km/hr with only 225 on the rear. I think tyre choice (Size and type) plays an important part in drifting and its a common thing to be over looked i think
  21. +1 he was very helpful on the phone and was willing to fit me in the same day to get the tyres all fitted up
  22. the RE001 are great, very grippy tyre i was surprised about how good they were. From what i have read and been told the RE01-R is even better but is a very soft compound tyre so it will wear alot faster.
  23. end up going with the RE001 as i got them for $270 each inc fitting (235/45/17). If i had the extra cash i would have for the RE01-R BTC stock the RE01-R BTC Bentley 21 Sevenoaks St, Bentley WA 6102 Phone : (08) 9458 4586 Fax : (08) 9451 7664
  24. lol gav you didn't finish the sentence your really nice but? but what lol? did you ask for your money back? you investment in dinner didnt come through and i think you should get a money back
  25. pfc is old and overprice for what it can do (can pay anywhere from $1000 to $1500 for one for an r33) greddy ultimate is far from a glorified safc, it can do everything the pfc can do and alot more. it is very popular in Japan, many cars run it for example d1 s15 running 400-500hp. if i can be stuffed later i will post up the laist of its spec. Just because some tuners haven't learn how to tune it 100% and/or find it hard to tune with doesn't make it a crappy ecu
