  1. Hi, Just wondering if anyone knows if it is legal to import engine oil ? method of shipping is EMS, and its coming from japan if that matters
  2. in the nismo catalogue, it has a photo on the std arms and the nismo arms, showing that the nismo arms are reinforced, so it would make them stronger, if you like i can scan the page for you
  3. that wont fix the problem of the headlights stick out, he also has to change his frontbar
  4. if you have a s2 you have two option option a change your bonnet, fender and front bar to s1 gts-t or option b chane your bonnet, fender and front bar to a gtr
  5. correct but you can only use the sender from the EL2 gauges, as the EL1 dont use the control box, so they have the second plug at the back of the gauge for the power, ground etc
  6. yes its possible its been done in a r33 and r34 (gt-t). I have all the wiring files and stuff i will post them up later edit: this link got some info too http://flatout.main.jp/driving/parts/bnr34mfd/

  8. if you have a s1 gts-t, the headlights will bolt straight on all you need to do is trim the headlights (as i shown in that photo) you do not need to change your front bar, bonnet or fenders
  9. also i found this a very interesting to read http://www.pitpass.com/fes_php/pitpass_fea...es_art_id=33014
  10. here you go m3gtr
  11. not 100% sure on that one in the nismo catalogue, it states Extending the effective length of genuine parts compensates for the negative camber resulting when the vehicle is lowered. this also is effective in reducing wear to the inner side of the tire. It also says the bushes have to be pressed into the arm, so if the aftermarket bushes can be pressed into the arm i dont see why you cant used them. Also i just install those arms and was able to change my camber to -2.5degress so im guessing you can go less also the long thing is part of a set called "Circuit Link Set" To provide optimal camber angle, the transverse link's effective length has been extended (+4mm), and the position of the upper link's third link installation hole has been changed. -change in camber angle, compared to std vehicle before installation: -0.50', after installation: -1.50' the figures above may vary by +-0.45', depending on individual vehicle characteristics
  12. here are some photos i have on the pc, i take some better ones on the weekend
  13. sure can, what are you after? photo of the mounting bracket (dog-bone) etc?
  14. was going to say the same thing! bought mine over a year ago and pay $500 for them, i think they even go as low as 40,000yen on yahoo auction brand new
  15. edit i found a photo of what you need *sorry its bad qaulity*
  16. you will not only need the control box but also the boost sender. is the apexi an EL1 or EL2 gauge, because by the sounds of your description it is an EL1 which means you dont need the control box. one of the pin holes are uses for connecting power to the gauge, the other pin will connect to the boost sender. If you can't find the EL1 boost sender just but the EL2 boost sender as it is the same thing BUT if you dont have the plugs to connect into the pins you may have a hard time sourcing them
  17. Tein's not installed yet still running my d2 coilovers lol I think the height setup is ok, it may be a few mm off but not anymore
  18. sure Just for extra information: Old Setup: Stock Gts-t Caliper and disc with Bendix ultimate pads (F & R) New Setup: Ap Racing CP5200 Caliper with endless pads and 323 slotted disc (front) Standard Gts-t rear caliper & disc with std pads So far i have yet to test the new brake setup on the track but i will be doing that this sunday at mc; so atm my feedback is purely base on how i have tested them on the street. Compare to my old setup, the brakes bit alot harder, and stop the car alot quicker. Also the car still feel balance under braking. I notice the greatest difference at high speed Around 100-120km/hr to low speed of 60km/hr, the car feels much more balance and stop alot quicker. As mention above the bias is ok, at first i through i would have problems with the rear end not slowing down enough compare to the front but i didn't have any such problems. The only issue i see is that the front lock first. In the beginning the pedal felt alittle harder compared to my oldsetup, but after a few days of driving it seem to soften up alittle but it is still harder compare to stock (only minor difference, as my oldman drives the car alot and he didnt notice the difference). I found thou that the amount of force required to push on the pedal to lock the car up is less than the stock setup. Disc size are 323 slotted, im currently running nismo lmgt2 17inch rims, so im hoping i may be able to increase the size of the disc but i don't know what the max. size of the disc is for the caliper final comments I love the new setup, and can't wait to see how it will affect my times when i hit the track Cheers Michael
  19. If Massa leaves Ferrari, i will be extremely disappointed, he is fast becoming a very talented driver, and now Ferrari give both drivers an equal change of winning, he is really starting to shine! I just hope next year they can sort out the problems they had this season
  20. you cant see the mounting point in the picture, but where it mounts in the middle is only done by a bolt which is about 5mm big Plus after installing the sturt brace i notice no real difference to the way the car feel, it may help about 2% but i dont think there is any noticeable gain. money better spent on a set of swaybars. Cheers Michael
  21. Cheers guys, the reason for locking the brakes is to find out the new locking point, as the pedal feel has changed.
  22. Hi, I've recently installed AP Racing Caliper (CP5200), with endless pads and slotted disc, on the front of my R33 GTS-T. Im still running stock rear brakes. I have found that when hitting the brake hard (to the point, where the fronts will lock) i find that the passenger side will lock first. Is this just a worn tyre, or uneven pad wear? my pads had around 1000-2000km wear when installed, could this be the course of the problem? Also is this issue anything to worry about? Cheers Michael
  23. thats correct, mate had his r32 spray in that colour
  24. not sure the difference between Japaneses brand name cat and aus spec brand name cat. but on an option video there did a back-to-back dyno of r34 gtr with no cat then apexi cat. and with the apexi cat it only lost 7hp. personally i dont think its worth it as Japaneses branded cat cost upwards of $500 And as mention before Xspeed will try to sell you the product which they are a dealer of
