  1. sorry didnt mean major loss, ment to write disadvantages? As from eveything i've looked at drifers use 2way lsd and most circuit/time attack cars uses 1.5way
  2. Hi, I'm looking at upgrading the lsd on my r33 (as it no longer works) i've worked out which brand i will be buying (NISMO) but i'm not sure weather i should go for a 2way over the 1.5way. The car is daily driven, and most of the track time i see is grip events but i dont mind a drift event here and there. Is there any major loss in going for a 2way compare to the 1.5way? CHeers Michael
  3. this is what mine looks like
  4. The Super Coppermix - is rated at 420ps (which is 420HP) this is for the kit
  5. Here some information about the nismo clutch (got from the nismo catalogue) SUPER COPPERMIX Allowable torque of 54 kgfm for dynamic friction (station friction: 81kgfm) Handles an estimated allowable power of 420PS This is a single clutch system that takes "the ease of use"and "high power handling"forte of COPPERMIX to the next level.. This series also includes a lineup of standard specification products that can handle 380P *NISMO standard measurements taken by combining high-power specification with the SR20DET engine. Lightweight flywheel - Equipped with a lightweight flywheel manufactured form special chromoly, the ideal weight has been provided to ensure torque Aluminum Cover - A cover made from a special aluminum with excellent heat-radiating powers is used Center Plate with strap Function - To deal with unlikely occurrence of misshift, the center plate features a strap function SUPER COPPERMIX TWIN Allowable torque of 84kgfm for dynamic friction (station friction: 143 kgfm) Handles an estimated allowable power of 670PS The multi-plate clutch takes "the ease of use" and "high power handling"forte of COPPERMIX to the next level *The numerical values are NISMO standard measurement values measured using a push-type clutch combined with an RB26DETT engine. Evaluation were made based on street and circuit conditions. No quarter-mile evaluation was conducted Lightweight flywheel - Equipped with a lightweight flywheel manufactured form special chromoly, the ideal weight has been provided to ensure torque Uses an aluminum cover and lightweight flywheel as a set - A special aluminum cover weigh excellent heat radiation is employed. Also, this is combined as a set with a special lightweight chrome-molybdenum flywheel to achieve the ideal weight setting for the attained torque. Center Plate with strap Function - To deal with unlikely occurrence of misshift, the center plate features a strap function Hope it helps Cheers Michael
  6. Hi, i would go for a nismo lsd; here is some information of 2 types of LSD nismo have Nismo GT LSD Pro - TT-model Nismo's suggested users: 1. Circuit tuners -Tuned cars with reinforced rear areas -Tuning shops handling time trial cars 2. Street users: -Those who want an LSD that is moderately effective on both winding roads and on the circuit -Those who want to use an LSD in street driving but dislike the chattering 45 degree Cam Angle: Based on the GT LSD PRO, The GT LSD PRO TT model was designed to meet the needs of tuning shops dealing with circuit time trials. Its main feature is a 45degee drive0side cam angle, compared to the 55degree angle used in the rest of the GT LSD series. This provides more mild locking characteristics, reducing the resistance of tire drag (too much effect of the LSD) in circuit running. It is for tuners who are dealing with tire drag resistance resulting from reinforcing the rear suspension member, differential mounting bushing and rear body. The 45degree cam angle most completely eliminates the chattering characteristic of LSD's reducing unexpected motion changes and increasing stability, allowing it to be used enjoyable on the street. Other basic functions are the same as the GT LSD PRO or you can try NISMO LSD PRO which has "Variable initial torque internal pressure function" - which allows for the setting of three initial torque values without the disassembly of the LSD itself, This allows for easy change of initial torque in response to changing driving style, tires, suspension, tuning or running conditions. And as initial torque decreases as parts age, changing the initial torque - LOW two times, MIDDLE once - overhaul costs can be saved LOW 6.5kgf MIDDLE 8.5kgf HIGH 14.0kgf High Level of control The GT LSD is not simply an LSD that provides more effective strength. It also reduces drive loss from occurring when attacking in circuit racing, and provides the solid traction need for improved cornering speed. These characteristics also provide improved angle control in drifting Cheers Michael
  7. i think that is old news at f1-live they have i personal dont trust any source that the British newspaper come up with as they are inlove with Hamilton

Hope everyone had a good time i unfortunately was unable to go on the cruise, but was at the meet point saying hi to a few people and hiding maps lol! hope everything went well and there was no major incidents also i think nxt time we will print out some more maps i dont think 50 was enough lol
  13. i had alittle pocket thing there, so i just got a plate and bent it in a L shape and fixed it to the pocket thing and just uses double sided tape to stick the ebc on the plate
  14. read the 1st post it cant be that hard!
  15. i can asnwer one of those question meet point: is city west!
  16. head over to driftwa.com and/or westdrift.com pretty much all the information you will need to know about when and how the drifting goes on in perth
  17. heres mine, its mounted nxt to the blitz power meter id3
  18. its ok its dan's we all know it!
  19. if you want to be an asshole about it dont come.... i am helping run the cruise and it is our job to make sure it is an accident free night.... if you got a problem with that maybe you should just keep to the ti board...
