Hi, im after abit of information, im looking at importing a pre 1986' car from japan. just wondering if anyone could tell me what is required to get the car rego? and the cost. Also does anyone know just a general cost of importing a car (shipping fees etc) also what is the go with tax if the car is value between 5 and 10k? edit: also are you allow to bring in a car which is mod? (for example has a rollcage?) Thanks Michael

i was driving home yesterday and the left lane of alexander drive (just after macca's in malga) was filled with holes everywhere. i think there were fixing it up this morning but if you drive down that way be careful as that part of the road is always shocking
