  1. gtr headlight have issue on gts-t due to guards and bonnet different from gtr to gtst
  2. no point tuning your car 2x times. i know for tuning safc its like $150-$250, i would guess retuning stock ecu would be more like tuning something like a pfc so you will be looking at $400-$450 (just a guess) And if you retune your stock ecu then there is no point in getting an safc. safc is a band-aid , quick fix, retuning stock ecu is just as good as getting a full ecu Cheers michael

  4. how much power do you have? i've got 350rwhp +, with 235 on the rear, if i launch it hard i 2issue with traction in 1st but once into 2nd she just goes! ohh i've also got a few suspension bits and a good wheel alignment setup (only little camber on the rear). if ur having issue maybe look at buying a good rubber. also what conidtion is ur lsd in? edit: much easier way to fix your traction problem sell up buy a gtr lol ;p Cheers Michael
  5. how can i reusing a old gasket cause the turbo to leak oil? i've reuse gasket before with no issue as long as it looks half ok you will be fine but if u need new gasket from manifold to turbo ive got one brand new laying around u can have like for nothing lol also be careful about the issue with the dipstick, dont want to get crap into engine and it goes bye bye If you need a hand i come around and help dude just not this week or nxt (got uni exam ) but once im free i can come help, i got a few tools which can help lol ohh u park near me at tafe today lol i like the wing did u cut it? edit - maybe ask for some help from the person you bought the engine off? did they tell you it was missing?

  8. have alook at some of the sau traders (http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?showforum=141), most of them get rims from japan. also you can try out slidewize imports (sau trader also), he can get you second hand rims from japan.   12. ohh just had a quick look for you, very possible to get r34 gtr rims in from japan for under 2k but unfortunately without tires. gtr goodness
  13. japan.... shipping is $300 by sea (takes 4 to 8 weeks) EMS is around double that $600ish takes 4-7days. shipping pricers are without tyres. with a budget of 2 to 2.5k inc shipping you will be able to pick up some nice rims for example LM-GT4 19inch suit gtr landed to ur door for about 2.5k-3k brand new WorkEmotionCRKai (18inch) 2.5k landed (or less) Volk Gt-C 2.5k-3k landed - gtr spec buddy club p1 2-2.5k landed (or less) BBS LM 2-2.5k (or less) or bargain price SAR3 for 1.5 to 2k (more towards 1.5k or less) -i should have a few set of rims laying around in the nxt few months, as im constantly changing my mind lol just some examples of what you can get if you got the cash pricers are ruff est. too tied to work out what they would really cost so i just over est lol cheers michael

Hi, i was wondering if someone would be able to help me (not sure if im posting in the correct area) im looking at buying a engine from japan (rb26) BUT i've got no method of shipping it home Anyone out there that has a container i can throw the engine in?   19. yahoo auction is where its at thats where i got my ps3 and 2x games and in the end it was alot cheaper just about to buy an 30gig video ipod cant go pass $200 from yahoo auction nothing wrong with a jap spec ps3 buying blu-ray stuff from usa and japan will be cheaper than buying it locally and im sure in time somesort of action-reply/gameshark will come out that allows you to play any region dvds.

  21. hmm, just to let you know there is a jap rim company that makes GTR copy rims, look like gtr rims but the center caps dont have GTR on them, i cant remember the name but if i remember right can get a set for brand new 1.5k without tyres
  22. sorry about the delay in replying been very busy lately. unfortunately second hand unit still sell for $400-$500, at the moment there are no second hand units available, but i will keen an eye out and if something comes up i let you know. I have found that if your in no rush to buy, i can get second hand stuff alot cheaper (i think last nismo dash second hand went for $300ish) Cheers Michael
  23. they fit no problem! and respraying them isn't an issue as well, i think its about $50-$60 a rim to respray them but for the price you can get some nice rims
  24. Sony no longer make the 20GB version, as the 60GB was selling so good, they saw no point to continuing making it
  25. at the moment blu ray are region free; althou sony did say they have plans to region lock them but weather or not then end up doing it has yet to be seen. I was able to play my free copy of James Bond on my jap spec ps3
