nah, that's fecking Kimi Roy-konnen!

Huh?? When can we see Z Tune @ Sandown? In the morning perhaps??
-
Wha?? What happened to the Smaugies car?
-
Nice. Is Sandown a better spectator sport than Essendon? Might take the little miss down to inject her veins with some motorsport! James, is the Z-Tune actually gonna be entered into this Dutton?... coz that would be sweeet!
-
Not bad. With a 6L engine, I know where to find you to check it out... every servo you pass. hehe I spose with Displacement On Demand, the fuel should be OK with conservative driving. It's a huge leap forward in sytling considering the general shape has not dramaitally altered since 1989 (VN). HSV might be a lot pricier than other alternatives. I'll chop ya springs for $50. ;0)

Nice. Now where's pics of the car & colour & rims (i realise u don't have it yet, but post links to them).

Dude, u aren't serious are you?.... "For hire"?

You CANNOT find a really comfortable driving position in these as either the pedal distance is nice, but the wheel is too far away, or the opposite. 10/10 for the total package though. The Clio Sport is the best complete package bar none. I have have driven a lot of car hard! Prob lacks a bit on power as I had an R34 GTT, but i have driven many cars that have an engine too powerful for it's chassis (Suzuki Swift GTi is one exmple). Saff... the V6 Clio is totoally mad. I s aw it last year on Top Gear. Toally impractical. No luggage space. A sellfish purchase, but a REAL weapon!

I had a quick read of the Colt turbo in the paper today. Was a bit disappointed with the 113kw of power, considering a NA Clio Sport (OK it's 2L) is around 130kws and a 2L Golf GTi is around 168 these days. They talk it up a bit, but for $30k price tag, I would prob get a VW Polo GTi and pocket the $3k saving. I have driven one of these and they are a nice little car. the tartan seats are a bit much for a german car though. I can't help but think that Mitsubishi are marketing the Colt on the coat tails of their legendary Evo breed. The recaros are nice, but I can't help remembering back to the Colts of the early to mid 80's.

Correct me someone if I am wrong, but I have a feeling that problems happen wit 255/18's on skylines. Not sure if it was a 34 ting or Skylines in general, but was a driving issue with these - if only a speedo accuracy problem. 265/35/18's were the go.
-
Me too. Someone tell him to to send it COD.

Good luck with that ecl.. No one has an R34 there. IT in Syd is WRX mad, which is very one sided. Nice ride BTW.

lol. I have been driving for 15yrs and am yet to see an oil slick.

I hate Ford with a passion, but I drove the new XR5 turbo a few weks back and was VEYR impressed. The orange metallic/pearl colour grabbed me fro the word go, but the little car has a lotta get up & go and would e fairly easy to mod some serous power out of. Very comfy to dirve too. You can scoff, as I once did, but the Renault Clio Sport is a serious little pocket rocket. From a package perspective, NOTHING in it's price range even comes close! Handles like you wouldn't believe and always makes me laugh when I get into my mates as they look like a hair dresser's car, but go like the clappers. You won't appreciate one til you test drive it. A 3 yr old one is around 18-20k or $35k new. Comfortable to drive too. I am with SS8_Gohan on the theory that it's a money waste buying a spanking new car.
-
Strangely it costs about $10k less to buy the extra 2 doors. Coupe's are a nicer looking unit.
-
lol. Me too. What a D_Head saying Sydney, ACT. No idea they are several hrs apart. Never seen: 1> An ASK SELLER A QN like that (maybe it's a sneaky way of compiling a list of eail addresses to sell to ppl?) 2> A seller request ppl email him to become a qualified bidder - what a load of crap. There was a guy on ebay a couple of yrs ago selling a series 6 Mazda RX-7 for AU$8k in good cond. I emailed him as it said it was in Hong Kong, but he told me it was in Spain & that shipping was incl in the $8000... L-O-L!!

Pharrrk!! Nice camera @ 12.4 mega-pixel. Almost $7k for camera body alone.
-
Bump. C'mon guys. $40 for a virtually new monitor. Surely interest rates haven't hurt that badly?
-
Magic pics there Joel! I wish I could take pics of that quality. What camera do you take those pics with?
