I was on my way back to my garage (in Loxton) because i was going overseas (im ova now) and im going to wait until i get back to get it complied, the front bar was missing because it was to low to get on the truck. EDIT: oh sorry didnt read it properly, it was prolly my car being transported to my compliance workshop (PVP Imports) before i picked it up.

Hey Nightcrawler Im in Calgary Canada at the moment but im commin to the USA in 2 days time (Seattle). I dunno what its like in DC but here every1 is driving Acuras and Hondas, I saw a R32 GTR for the first time this week in Banff (brought bk memories of home ). I had a stop over in London for a day and that whole time I only saw 1 import which was a Soarer, the cost of fuel ova there is like $3 AU i think so imports arnt so popular. Newayz have fun man and if u can stay in a hostel with a bar, even if u can afford a hotel they are the best fun and u meet so many different ppl. Cheers, Spangers PS Anythin happening in SA?

Hey thanks for ur help fellas, ill get it tuned asap but until then ill use Bp Ultimate just incase. 1 last question, what does detonation actually sound like, does the engine knock before it detonates or does it just die in 1 hit?

Does any1 know how to tune a GReddy E-Manage ECU?

Hey guys i need ur help I just imported a modified R32 GTS-t that has been fitted with a aftermarket ECU (GReedy E-Manage) and I was talking to a friend who said that if I use Australian Premium Unleaded in it that the lower octane fuel may cause the engine to detonate? I believe that Japanese fuel is 110 octane where as Aussie premium is only 98 octane, would this lower octane fuel be causing damage to the engine or possibly cause it to detonate? If I used octane booster in the premium would that fix the problem until i can get the car tuned propperly for Australian fuel. I also have the link cable and program to tune the E-Manage, so if any1 has any experience using this ECU, could they tell me how to ajust the ECU to run on Australian Premium. Thanks

Well my car it booked into PVP on Monday and I still havnt seen it ffs! Went up to Adel (i live 3 hours away) on Friday to pick it up but aparently it was 2 low so the transport ppl had to take off the front bar and skirts So now they r going to drop it directly at PVP, its gunna cost heaps to get it complied because of the mods on my car. Any 1 wanna swing by PVP and get sum pics 4 me

Im leaning toward PVP becuase the guy I talked to (Rocky i think?) was really helpful and I explained that I need it done within a week becuase im going overseas and he said no problem. He also said that he wont drop his price from $1580 but he will look after me with the price of taking mods off, so hopefully I get a reasonable deal.

Do best enterprises charge you for removing mods n stuff? I know PVP do

I got home to late to ring Best Enterprises, ill try to get hold of them tomorrow or Saturday. I was just wondering does Best Enterprises take your car through regency for you because I know PVP does. The thing is even if alot of mods have to be removed from my car I definatly aint paying $1580 and then even more for the mods to be removed. How much does it cost for regency to have a look at your car? Maybe thats where the extra $300 is comming onto the PVP price, unless Best Enterprises takes your car through and only charges $1200?

I just rang PVP and they want $1580 to comply my car :S Is it just me or is that expensive? Any other places people could recomend so I can compare prices? Rang the guy at import spares and he recomended PVP, I would definatly go with PVP but its so expensive, I was expecting $1300 max. Maybe if I could get another quote PVP would try to match it?

Is he good pkblade, would you recomend him?

Ah great news guys! I have some awesome news too, MY CAR IS ON THE WAY!!! I was told a few days ago that my car had missed the last ship and the last ship had broken down so it was going to be 3 weeks before i could get a spot, BUT today I get an email saying my car is on the ship and that the shipping agent was just slack surrendering the bill of lading :chairshot . So hopefully you guys will see a new R32 cruzin around Adelaide in the next couple of weeks Its the 1 in my avatar, its got a GTR face but a IMPUL bodykit, look for IMPUL writen on the boot lid! I can post pics if u like?

Fly to Japan and sit in the back seat of your car wit a baseball bat I cant believe you got your car 20 days after payment Nightcrawler thats awesome, to bad about the customs delay I am having so many delays with my car, I bought it mid June and im still waiting for a spot on a ship. I hope its not sitting on the docks, if it is it would have been there for 3+ weeks by this stage it will probably be on bricks :s I think I better email my agent and find out where its at.

Nightcrawler, so basically you have got no come back if something is stolen? Also why is ur car on the docks for 3 weeks, I thought customs onlys takes a week and then u can take it?

My r32 will be leaving Japan in the next week or so, the seller who i bought the car off took most of the removable stuff out but not the Apexi Avc-r, he recons it is pretty secure but now im not so sure :S If anything is missing out of the car I have a list and the seller will vouch for what was in it so if they try to steal something i will keep at them until thy cough up the replacement money and if it comes to it ill go to court. Its bs that they can get away with that kind off stuff, you would think the management woud do some thing?

The problem I have is that the software it comes with is in Japanese so I cant understand it. Yeh dunno, the seller says its HKS and by the look of the mods he prefers HKS. It does say that it is a HKS GT2850 wastegate special full turbine kit. Dunno all the work was done in Japan so maybe that has somthin 2 do with it?

Thanks guys for your input, I think it ran 380hp at 1.2 bar but im not exactly sure. All internals are stardard as far as i know. Im getting a mechanical inspection done soon and when I get the results ill post them.
