  4. yeah, i understand its not in the league of 'todays' turbos as in response, power pp,lag, but i got it for relatively cheap, and after spending a fair bit on the car i know im kinda bottlenecking it with this turbo..but guys, as we all should know, sometimes our hands are tied and have to make do with what we have..and by any means, bringing on boost 500rms faster is nothing to gawk at. Im just trying to make the most of what i have, thats all, thanks for the response.

  6. Hey guys. Umm im not sure how to put this cos i dont know too much about it so i thought id just throw it out there.. I have a t3/t4 (to4e) and its spooling a little too late (5k+) so yeah, i got the car tuned at uas and they suggested changing the exhaust housing on the turbo to allow it to spool a little earlier (4k would be appropriate). Has anyone had experience in this area and would anyone be able to suggest which type of housing would suit my application?? thanks guys.

  8. yeah, im not sure, im going to enquire as to why the turbo wasnt checked...
  9. yeah...well, now it looks like im up for a turbo rebuild, ffs, and they HEARD the metal banging round in there....i thought nothing of it, he said 'probably just engine noise'....wtf do i do now :! any idea where the metal could have come from?

After noticing NO BOOST after leaving the workshop, tried advice given there- (when it seizes, as it did on the dyno- just....spin it with ure finger) which, surprisingly diddnt work..after getting it home, took the thing off, only to fing a big chunk of METAL in there, has been taken to turbo specialist for prognosis- exhaust housing now fuxored. now, im wondering if its possible to swap the t3 housing for the t25? i think on another turbo i have here. after 8 months being ****** round....u know, im at my wits ends.
  11. hey well the only way to check if your rings are gone is to take the oil cap off and rev the car.. if oil spurts out its the rings...
  12. well another thing you should maybe do is ,, take the oil cap off,, and if oil spurts out it could be ur piston rings,, thats what happend to my car.. :ufo:
  13. hi. i just wanted to find out how much power ill be getting out of my r32 gtst. ill be getting it back soon and this is as follows.. my motors getting rebuilt forged pistons, bigger internals. injectors, fuel pump, head bored out, to4e turbo.. can anyone help me out?? :ufo:
