  1. Legend! Now I just gotta be patient while I wait for my package from justjap.com
  2. Seems like a convenient spot? What's that existing line there and can I just remove it or should I run a t-peice? Otherwise is there a better spot to do it? Car is a 95 r33 gts25t and I'm new to turbos so a little help would be much appreciated. Also I know I'm gunna cop shit for this but I bought a small shift light that doubles as a digital tacho as well. Was gunna chuck it on top of my steering coloumn. Where's the best place to grab the ignition signal from? Thanks guys

I was in the white 33 with stockies.. just exhaust+boost.. spoke to Dan with the black 32 coupe a bit, dude seemed cool at 1st meet point. showed me the 32 bonnet trick ahaha Was tough seeing 25-30 skylines driving up leach hwy 3 abreast. Definately up for the next one.

  8. I had the same problem in mine, so I installed a HICAS lockout bar. Problem came back this afternoon (1 month later) so I removed the HICAS fuse from the boot. Seems to be good again, fingers crossed it stays that way.
  9. I'm with Dsturbd. I'd lose my job if I got a yellow sticker and had to take time off work. However I will continue to take the bus/train to work, then bring my car out on weekends. Murdoch Traffic Enforcement have a new WRX hatch... doubt that would pass... idiots.

  11. hey guys, just curious if the owner of a r32 gts-t (possibly dark grey) with decals up the side in the northern suburbs of perth browses these forums.. you were going up hepburn ave at approximately 9:20pm at on wednesday night, and saw a purple vl v8.. coming off the freeway heading eastbound would like to catch up for a beer and a chat as your car sounded quite tough send me a PM thanks
  12. Hi guys, Can anyone describe which hoses I need to use (mspaint pics would be awesome ) and which way the arrow should point.. Also is 12psi ok with 3" turbo-back and the factory sidemount? Thanks heaps -dave
  13. Hi guys, The starter motor in my RB20 VL died and I was wondering if a regular RB30E one would fit? Thanks, -dave
  14. Just because something is Australian doesn't mean it's automatically crap!! Good on the C.A.P.A. team for putting out such impressive figures and putting on a good show at every event I've seen so far, Australia is new to the sport of drifting but I'd love to see the C.A.P.A. ute becoming competitive enough to enter the D1 series. It's a pipe-dream right now but at least someone is trying and representing us! Besides, the Japanese love everything eccentric and there is nothing like the VU series ute being produced in any other country right now..
  15. Yeah that extra litre makes a *big* difference. I used to have a VN 5L with 200rwhp cam and chip with a shift kit, so im missing the torque and gear chirping. The RB20 should be more fun with 4.11's and a T28 though. Even now; when it eventually manages to hit full boost its alot of fun, but if you're in the wrong gear at the wrong time, its can be disappointing That's not as bad as you might think. What you have to remember is that trimatic V8's have 2.78 diff gears, compare that for example to an R32 skylines 4.3 diff gears.. apples and oranges.. chuck a 4.11 minispool and mild hydraulic cam, lifters and stiffer valve springs in and they're not so pathetic.. Considering most import Skylines have pod filters, raised boost and exhausts I don't think it's that unreasonable. While the V8's might be able to keep up or even power ahead on the straights there's nothing like a Nissan or Toyota to teach you a lesson through the twisties :headspin:
  16. I have a RB20DET in a VL with pod, 10psi boost and 3" turbo-back. It's not bad but I wish I had a bit of extra off-boost torque, once it hits boost it gets up and boogies though :headspin:
