I'm after a driver's seat only from an R32 GTR, but with all the rails and anything else it needs to bolt into an R32 GTS4. I will probably be in Melbourne next Tuesday and would look at picking it up and paying for it there and then. So either answer this thread, send me a personal message or email me at [email protected] with a picture please, just so we aren't wasting your time or mine. Please include price and whereabouts in Melbourne I would pick it up from. It would be a daytime collection.

Do any transport companies do 'Cash on Delivery' type of arrangements such as Australia Post do? Obviously this is benefical for us buyers......

It is for sale purely for commercial reasons. It was recently imported for me to sell to help fund a Targa Tasmania entry.......So nothing to hide, no sinister reasons for sale. The car is in Launceston, only one hour drive from Devonport where the car can be driven on to a car ferry to either Melbourne or Sydney - roll on / roll off. Direct flights in to Launceston (Tasmania is not a neighbour of Antartica!). I don't understand why people are so down on autos, especially those of you who use manuals as daily drivers in heavy traffic. Yep autos put the power down beautifully, and that little extra weight of 4wd is fantastic in the wet, besides who spends their whole life hanging the tail around the corner.

I'm sure there are any number of people on this site that can provide all the necessary bits to do a manual conversion.

Price is now $12500. Car in Launceston, Tasmania.

I reckon the race import GTS4 must have sold. It hasn't been in the paper for the last couple of weeks. I wonder who bought it, hopefully they didn't get conned.......

on the left side, right at the back and down quite low, adjacent to the firewall. Bastard of a spot to see it. CAreful if the engine's just been run coz I always burn myself hunting it.

Talking of people selling cars, besides myself, has anyone met the guy from Taroona who is advertising lots of different cars in the trading post each week? This week there's a truck, a 180sx, and R32 GTR and who knows what else.

surely it doesn't cost that much to fly sydney to brisbane?

A mate of mine has just imported a skyline and found that it's arrived with mismatched rims. Consequently he's after 2 GTSt standard rims to suit an R32. Please, should you reply to this thread, INCLUDE the cost of freight to Launceston Tasmania. If freight companies do cash of delivery that would of course be the safest method for all involved. Just so we are clear about this Kerry isn't selling this car. Kerry sold the car to this guy for race use, but it now seems that this guy isn't going to use it for race use and is trying to sell it to some unsuspecting punter. It is not Kerry selling the car. It's this simple, if it can be registered why isn't it?

kerry always has a little money making venture on the go so that doesn't suprise me, I know he's got a few race imports and I believe more on the way. I've checked the phone number on the ad in the paper and it isn't his.

Used to be Kerry's car, he sold it to someone else for race use, now that person is trying to sell it. I know Kerry had someone ring him about the car and told him that the guy was saying it could now be registered etc etc.

The spirit of Tasmania is a car fery in case you didn't know, silly me presuming everyone would know what it is.

$1432 from Tassie to Brisbane by Patrick logistics. Of course the other option is fly down (fares are cheap and there are direct flights) drive it home on the Spirit of Tassie from Devonport to Sydney then road trip to Brisbane from there.

I will check with Patricks car carriers and see if I can get a price.

I understand you can get SI rego, but that's only good for 52 days a year. My sources are telling me that this seller is basically lying his @$$ off, so I don't want to see anyone get burned if they are new to imports. I suppose the question to ask would be - if it can be registered why haven't you already registered it? No hiding I also want to sell my car, but at least it has full rego......... *edited by Slaz.
