predator666:thanks predator, yeah i took the left rocker cover off, still hard to get too, i used a ring spanner, the plate on the plenum that attached to the Throttle body slices ya knuckles apart. DJ_L3ThAL: yes theres is a ruber/steel gasket, its easy to take in/out and it is reusable. jsut re tentioned all ym belts, and i had a boost leak, seems all fixed now. I used 240 grit sand paper on the orbital sander, then i rub it back till its baby smooth with 800.

well guess what i did yesterday and part of thursday night. i busted my hands apart sanding this god dam ****ing plenum. i dont recoment tyreing to do your plenum. its jsut too hard. its too hard to get off, unless u take the inlet pipes off as well, which u have to refill your coolant. or u can do what i did and spent 2hrs undoing these 5 bolts. but this is what it now looks like. and my hands still hurt. i think thats why i had trouble drifting last night hehehe, or it was jsut the rain and the 6L of diesel on the road. dam sliprey roads

yeah, close ya bonnet, or do it outside ya garage. aluminium dust = bad for engine. and rember to degread ya pipes and clean them out fully before putting them back in.

well ive spent ages taking this plenum off, tis much easier to take the inlet pipes as one peice i think. anyhwo this is the engine bay now. ill have it assembled later tonight
