The other day after washing my car I returned to my appartment to find my storage cage in the under ground secure car park had been broken into, and all 4 17" Advan RG's were stolen. They also all had new rubber on them . I had them in there as I was going to get them re-rolled after an accident I had with them. Three of them need re-rolling and one of those three is cracked and buckled. I did however find a place which could fix that crack and re-roll them for me and I was looking forward to doing that. If anyone sees any Gold 17" Advan RG's around for sale could they let me know.

How much to send them to victoria?

I'm downgrading from 17" with 245x40 tyres to 16" with 235x50, am I right in thinking my ride height will drop by 15mm. If so is there tyres I should put on so that it will not drop?

I'm thinking of going to the DECA, this would be my first event to enter as I just joined up last week. I've been reading up on the last DECA will the requirements and events be the same? Will I need a CAMs or AASA license? If so is it easy to get? Can I have a passenger in the car on the track? Do I have to compete in all the events? Is there any accommodation left? It may just be me going as my g/f wont come unless she can drive the car and she's not a member.

Is the rear seat in good condition? Is it off a R32 GTR?

I'm having trouble with my HICAS as well, but it's different again. Well slightly: It all started yesterday when I changed the drivers side far right brake light. I took it for a short drive and everytime I hit the brakes the HICAS light would come on and I would loose my power steering. This is a big concern as I'm going away this Friday and I don't want problems. After this short drive I returned home turned the car off for 5minutes and then back on and I've been on two 10minute drives since and it hasn't happened at all. The last drive I went on I put the A/C, highbeams on, pumped up the stereo, put on the demister, wiper blades and the batt didn't go below 12.5volts at all. It's a sometimes problem that's only happened once and now it's scarying me. Will I have full steering if it happens again? Are there any more ideas to why it only happens when I brake? Can it be disabled by removing a fuse? And would that disable the whole power steering or just the HICAS? My speedo didn't drop as far as I noticed although I was going very slow and was more concerned about the light and lack of steering so maybe it was the sensor. I wish the fault happened to a pattern, I hate these sometimes problems.

Would those mags suit a GTR? (are they off a GTR) Which state are you located?

I broken one of my Advan RG's and I'm after a set of R33 GTR Stock Rims 17" to fit my R32 and 245x40 Tyres.

UPDATE! So far I've talked to many people about finding a replacement mag with specs: Yokohoma Advan RG 17" x 9.5" GTR offset, Gold and it seems impossible. I've still got a few people looking out for me. Currently my car is still at the mechanics and I'm going to get some R33 GTR 17" mags when I find some for sale. Usually their are heaps of them but I cannot find any out there at the moment and I've also got my mechanic looking as well. I'm still going to look around for a spare Advan, but this will give me time.

I own a R32 and don't know what R33 standard rim's look like could send pictures? are they 17" mags?

What are the condition of the Rim's? Doe they have tyres as well? if so are they road worthy? will you frieght to melbourne? are they 17" GTR R33 Rims?

*R32 GTR whells 16x8 with two good tyres $500 Are these still available? are you in Victoria? Do all the mags have tyres on them? Are they all road worthy?

I'm brought my R32 GTR from JSA and got it checked out before hand and it had about $3k's worth of problems, which I got JSA to factor into their price. New peders suspection, new DBA cross drilled slotted rotors, new brakes, new brake lines, new timing belt. It was well worth getting one of the top mechanics to check out the car before hand to find everything which was wrong. I've had the car for a year and haven't had problems apart from one minor accident in the wet . I wasn't happy with JSA in the end though they seemed shifty and their warranty deal is load of crap. One good thing though I don't think the knew how good those Advan RG Mags really were.

I've damaged one of my Advan RG rims beyond repair and I need a new one. If anyone has this Mag 17" x 10" please reply with a price, condition and a picture if possible. Preferably a gold color.

The Mag cannot be repaired, Advanced Alloys said "Throw that away, don't even bother bringing it down if it has a crack in the front". My mechanic said his Mag specialist cannot fix it either. So it looks like I'm up for a new gold Advan RG 17" 245mm, or second hand. Let me know if anyone sees a cheap Advan RG going around. The rest of the repairs are: two ball joints $345, full alignment front and rear $250, two new tyres $185ea, plus a MAG wheel which I'm looking for. At least nothing underneath was seriously broken, but still an expensive day on the road .
