Hmm yea Ive been meaning to rewire the ecu. Been lazy for last xx months lol In the resevor you are suppose to see fluid? Because I think I see some well according to that little guide under the resivor cap it says it's full... hmm will check this on Saturday when there is light.

Ermm Ever since Ive had the car arrive from Japan, the steering has been very very heavy. @ all speeds. It's great for draging at WSID but shitty for windy roads and roundabouts! Ive gotten used to it but it's pretty annoying now and then.. So what's causing this? (Ive had a search but nothing definiative with a solution.) 1. I think their is enough fluid in there. Not sure have to get it checked out. 2. The steering fluid box broken? 3. Speedo works.... pfc say the pump is working but I dont have the speed reading on the pfc (Only rpm, think the speed wire is cut at ecu wire loom) 4. Blocked lines? 5. Broken power steering? Can anyone help? Yes it's not just me other people say my steering is heavy, even Abobob said so! So must be heavy!

I didnt tell my parents when I lost mine for *gasp*9months*gasp*. If I did i would be in heavn now. DONT SPEEEEEEEEEED!

There is plenty of space.. If you do get a bigger battery you need a newier adjustable bracket as I think the stock one is too small. Better off to get a sealed one as unsealed ones can release fumes which can cause a spark and blowup. np.. Yes it's a hassle, but with all these new resitrctions on L's P1's P2's and rider, it's hard to keep track of what is the law, esp when people like you have P's prior to all these ammendements. The GD cop (assuming it was) shoulda radio'ed the radio or asked to speak to his supervisor or hwy unit on a back channel for their advice before issueing the fine. Oh well, shit happens. Hope they compensate you for loss of work or time etc.. Heck remmeber that judge who tried to sue the dry cleaners in America? Tried to sue for them losing his pants saying it caused him emotional stress lol.. (he lost btw) PS. You also have a 0% BAC limit on your L/P1/P2 this is not written on the back of your licence. It probably says the old 0.02 limit BAC.

lol Got a picture of the fine? I wanna see! I guess they weren't aware of the conditions. Contest the fine and go from there, as you do have a legitimate reason to contest it. "The prohibited vehicle condition restricts provisional (P1 and P2) drivers from driving certain high performance vehicles. The condition applies to provisional licences issued on or after 11 July 2005" http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/licensing/gettin...ons.html?llid=4 I think once they write up the infringement it's in the system so you'll have to contest it. ----------- ps. You dont goto your "blacks" anymore. The colour scheme doesnt mean anything. Once you sit for the Full Unrestricted Licence you can choose to get 1 year (black coloured I think), 3yrs (dont remmeber) or 5 yrs (gold licence). All dependent on how much you want to pay.

What licence class do you need for this? L2S is sufficient right?

Uhh I went to jaycar and got some terminals and lugs. Rewired the wires and got the 4GA for neg and 4GA for pos. Also modded the fuse box a bit so that the terminal actually sits to the horitzonally as oppose to the L bend. Pretty easy, oh man stripping the 4GA with sissors/pliers lol so annoying. (No other tools lol) I just need a new battery I think, old one is dead.. recharged and recharged and nothing... doesnt store charge.

Hi Mate, Ive replied to your PM re the tray. I'll take it Also do you have this part? It's the door connector thingy, I want drivers and passenger with all the plastic intact. I'll probably think of more parts later when I come and pickup the tray.
