  2. Spotted Black R32 GTR (PL-120) along Anzac Pde then turned into cleavland just this morning. I was in the 393 bus, was waveing frantically. rofl nah.. I wasnt.
  3. lol Dan! I musta read that at work and forgot about it when I got home. Top marks for you too he he he
  4. Paul FYI: Yes Steve is correct. According to the diagram: http://members.dodo.com.au/paul/diagrams/r33-fusebox.html The fuse that was broken was "Left Column, top to bottom:" -> "10A – Engine Control"
  5. Sweet! Im ready to go then.. YES OMG ffs CHECK FUSES FFS Thanks everyone for helping! Top marks goes to SAU and its members again! :( Esp Steve and Chris :worship:
  6. Spotted my car in the garage looking dirty but hot. Well I havent driven the car in awhile so I spotted it. LOL
  7. WELL!!!!!!!! I checked the fuses under the drivers's dash.! And I noticed hmm wtf.. one 10AMP red fuse is broken. Dunno how it was broken but it was! Replaced the fuse and pfc works fine and car starts up with it! So Paul I reckon in your tut put in to check all fuses if pfc doesnt work. Now the only thing that sounds or looks weird to me is: When I turn the key into "ACC" the hand controller doesnt turn on. However when I put it to "ON" it does. Whats wrong with that?
  8. or Tools -> Folder Options -> View -> Make sure the radio button for "Show Hidden files and folders" is checked. Then browse the ipod removable drive and go copy the files.
  9. Sounds like its mis-firing? Do a search for missing or mis-firing or sparks or coils or coilpacks. Should come out with some answers? Id say check sparks and coils for hairline fractures. or just check sparks and buy new splitfires mmmm yummy. Also check AFM is working properly.
  10. hmm hmmm.. Where? What? How Much? hmmmm hmmm rofl *runs for the hills to find a seat in the corner of the hills*
  11. Soo you are volunteering to drive people home from drunk places ey.. rofl... Yes make em pay, I would make myself pay if I did that to my car
  12. Jump starting the car ey? As Chris says which one pfc or car or both the same? : Do I do this by placing jumper leads to the terminals and starting another car then start my car with the PFC in?
  13. Havent checked fuses.. But with the std ECU works fine. It may be the PFC simply not recieving enough volts. or wiring missmatch, though I cant see why. Ill try jump starting it via jumper leads tommorow. Unless its bad to do this. : It all too confusing right now..
  14. Hmm after talking to people. Seems like the pic above is a stock ecu and nothing special about it. This leads me to the wiring. The plug loom u see there is for the AVCR. Or possibly the pfc isnt recieving enough volts at ACC to start up? As the stock ECU only needs 8v to start, while the pfc needs the full 12v? Hmmmmm
  15. Hmm ok I have some pics of my "stock" ECU. See below. This is what I just tried before.. I tried plugging in the PFC again. This time I took note of what happened. Plugged in the wiring loom. Plug in hand controller Disable alarm Turn the key to ACC. Nothing! Hand controller doesnt turn on! wtf? Turn the key to ON, Hand controller comes up APEXI Screen then it just freezes at the "RB25DET" screen. All this is happening whilst the engine light and exhaust temp sensors are flashing and the ticking sound is heard from the fuel tank. Once again unplug everything and put stock ECU back and everything works fine. Weird thing at back of ECU: ECU Mounted:
  16. Damm 3.2k for them f**k me.. But looks nice.. Though a new turbo would be better.
  17. Sounds like coils may have small cracks, and one or more of them arent working due to it? You are running higher boost and under load std parts tend to break. Do a search on mis-fire or coils or sparks and there seems to be alot of info. Check: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=32356 and to test your coils: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=124932
  18. Sorry to hi-jack but... What are the differences between the S1 and S2 ones? Are there any R33 headlights that have projectors which will fit in S1 cars? :
  19. Yes they will, I have the same package and they work great in my car. SF-DIS-001 For Series 1 RB25DET. For Series 2 you need different ones.
  20. Stick a torch in the fuse box and check for broken fuses. or (If its abit hard) what I do is take out each fuse one by one and see which one is broken remembering where they go back. Fuse diagram is also nice i think Ive seen one around somewhere. Do a search? :
  21. Well you learn something everyday. Time for some new 20" chr0mes. YEA BABY! Tempe tyres here I come!
  22. Ill take the stock ECU out tommorrow and get some pictures. Hmm had a re-read of paulr33's pfc faq and this might be my problem? "Some cars only (for some strange reason) have half gauge wiring running from the battery to the ECU. This works fine for the factory computer but the PowerFC needs the full 12volts. You can simply run new 12volt wire from the battery to the ECU and this should correct this. This problem has been experienced by at least two members previously (both in R33 GTST)"?
  23. Well here is my problem... Plug in the pfc. The hand controller doesnt turn on. Put keys in and turn it to ACC. The hand controller turns on. Turn off the boost controller unit. Turn the keys to "ON". At this stage the engine light and the exhaust temp sensor flashes repeatedly and I can hear a tapping noise comming from the fuel pump. Fuel pump seems to prime. I wait awhile crank the engine to try and start it and it wont budge! Plug back the stock ECU and everything works, car starts, just doesnt like the PFC. All alarms are turned off. (That I know of) At first I thought it was a faulty PFC, but I tried another PFC and it did the same thing. S1 RB25DET 5 Speed Manual. I have no idea what is wrong. Suspecting its a wiring problem? The stock ECU is an old one with some sort of diagnostic knob at the back of it. : Edit: In case people dont read this was fixed, cause is explined here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=2327813
  24. Yes you are! You are going to a "skidpan" duhhh.. Have fun guys!
