  1. Yeah good point, The Ceffy's definately tend to attract less attention than a skyline/silvia I might be going to route of a Cima myself if I can find the cash to buy one from a work mate...gotta love the pillarless look!
  2. Update post with pictures of damage and mismatched panels
  3. Not really interested in selling it as parts just yet Trying to get rid of it complete If I do sell it as parts I will let you know
  4. Well I am finally selling my Cefiro Haven't driven the thing in over 2 years now since I crashed in at a Drift practice. Motivation to fix the beast has finally been killed off with the presences of a new girlfriend and the need to move to Bunbury. As I have said the car was crashed. I have fixed the majority of the stuff on the car, but it still need to be taken to a panel beater to finish of what I cant do. I will post pics of its present condition when I get a chance but for now have a look at the specs and pictures of its former glory. would estimate the cost of Panel work at around $2500 which will still make this a very cheap Cefiro Black 1989 Nissan Cefiro 4-door sedan 2.0 litre turbo (RB20DET) 5 speed (conversion from auto) around 90,000kms Modifications include: Engine Standard RB20DET Rebuilt standard turbo red K&N Pod Unknown aftermarket cat back exhaust Dr. Drift boost controller (Phematic) 3 puck Brass Button clutch LSD(Tomei 2 way) Max boost of 1.2bar(17psi) Front mount intercooler with custom steel painted pipework(small amount needs to be replaced) Oil cooler Walbro fuel pump Suspension Front Strut tower brace Height adjustable suspension Fronts: JIC coilovers Rears: Racing Gear coilovers Hicas Lock Bar Dr. Drift Alloy Pineapples Interior Aftermarket gauges include: Greedy temp gauge mounted on A-Pillar BLITZ boost gauge Splitfire Oil pressure and Temp gauges in centre console Matching aftermarket steering wheel, handbrake cover, shift knob and floor mats RECARO driver's seat unknown turbo timer fitted(1-3 minute) Old skool HKS turbo timer not fitted(1-5minute) Half cage Racing pedals Power options include: Mirrors Sunroof Steering Airconditioning(parts required due to accident) Stereo KENWOOD MD / CD player With 150W 4”x6” Bosch Man two ways in front doors And ???W 6” MB Quart splits in the rear Exterior Aftermarket bodykit(stock front bar included) including sideskirts Aluminium GT rear wing Wheels UNKNOWN aftermarket 3 piece Rims 15x7.5inch front and back some ridiculous offset(hang a good inch outside the guards) AVS 16" rims 7.5" & 8" is probably more which I have forgotten to add asking for $7500 which is totally negotiable as I am sure people wont want everything I have lying around for this car Car is still licensed, but Registration is due it is also not currently driveable as I dont have the time to get the engine running
  5. Glad I found this thread....mine was so stretched(i have never used the handbrake for drift) that when I tried to wind down the bolt to adjust it the tread snapped off completely. I ended up welding the thread back, but think I will jsut replace it now

  19. would have to agree i was qouted $880 for a basic remap which is just crazy
  20. You recon it would be galvanised inside if it was mine wouldnt have rusted was thinking of getting this done though so it never happens again, but its kinda going overboard oh its in a cefiro by the way and as far as i have been told nothing else can really be made to fit it i hope this isnt true
  21. Wanted to know if anyone has ever had to get their fuel tank professionally cleaned to get rid of rust my tank is stuffed but its going to cost to much to buy a new one i was thinking it could probably be sand blasted then acid dipped but i only know of large factories like ferro-galv that could do it and i dont think they would really be interested any ideas?
  22. I need a new fuel tank as mine is stuffed please PM or call on 041 994 6415
  23. Was jsut wondering if anyone has ever replaced their fuel tank in a ceffy mine is rusted out i have cleaned it up a bit but its still shocking it keeps clogging up my injectors new from nissan they are like $1200 a custom made aluminium one is about the same which is robbery was wondering if anyone has tried fitting fuel tanks off any local or import models has one for sale or know of a good way to clean them out properly
  24. try adding toluene you will have to advance the time drastically though and yeah, it can take a toll on your car if you push it to hard it burns alot hotter than petrol I have been dropping 8L of it into my tank and advancing the timing to around 40 degrees but yeah, it does give significant gains just dont add to much
  25. yeah, it looks like the stock BOV is still connected but as said, you cant see as it is out of the picture ive heard of ppl running 2 bovs but their isnt really a need to I dont even run one on mine
