  1. a pain in the arse in deed i tried using my air drill which is pretty compact, but it started to drill at an angle, due to it sitting up hard against the A/C lines on the firewall is all good though, wanted to give the engine a freshen up anyways as it was running like poo i pulled the fuel filter off, and mud poured outta it YUK! might have to port the exhaust manafold a bit while im at it
  2. Have just dropped the engine out of my car so i can drill these holes nice and straight Ive already had limited success trying to rip a snapped stud out of the dump pipe with the easyouts I wish they hadnt snapped inside the head, otherwise i would have tried that suggestion of cutting a grove in the stud and using a screwdriver will let you all know what ends up working best
  3. GOd dang, i was so looking forward to drifting at Collie Oh wells, is kinda good cos my car is rooted and needs repairs At least now i wont rush them hoping to get it back on the road before the 10th Let us know when this can be reorganised Am very kean to lend a hand in organising it at a later date
  4. I just found a bent bolt on my exhaust manifold so decided to undo it to replace it. What do ya know it snapped off inside the head, YA for me!!! After taking off the exhaust manifold to try and remove the bolt i managed to snap 2 more Has anyone else has similar problems with this? Has anyone tried removing a bolt snapped off in the head? Im about to attempt to remove it with one of those extractor set of drill bits. will post how successful this is ALso wondering if anyone has tried purchasing gasket sets for the RB20 I was qouted $650 for a gasket kit that included everything including the head gasket no one was able to get me just the exhaust manifold gasket
  5. I have a clutch aligning tool if you need to borrow it but yeah, an input shaft is just as effective
  6. SPotted a Black Cefiro pullin up beside me on Shelly bridge on Leach Highway in Perth Was about 4:30 on saturday arvo Was good to see what my car looks like from the outside on da road
  7. Yeah the A31 Rb20Det is slightly detuned, but i dont think it is by that much

  10. THat would be me damn it that other guy beat me in by seconds bugger!!!
  11. Thanks guys I had a go at trying to install them this weekend, but failed misserably I couldnt even get the pressure switch to come loss cos it is in such a hard to reach spot Think i might just splurge out on a Oil cooler, im pretty sure they have mounting spots for both sensors similar to that trust one
  12. Was wondering if anyone has installed Oil pressure and temperature gauges in their car. I have just bought 2 gauges and for the life of me i cantfind the original oil pressure switch Also wondering if anyone knows were it is possible to install the temperature sender. I have some PDF manuals but the pictures are really crappy so i cant really make anything out. Im fairly sure the pressure switch is somewere near the starter motor Help please!
  13. I might grab it off you Any chance it will fit up on an RB20 were is it at man and ill come pick it up
  14. Buy some similar 2 piece rims mate If they aint the same color just give the centres a quick paint job Actually gives me an idea, Think i might paint the centres on my own mags I have been painting alot of stuff on my car with this red metaliic MetalCast paint I have some 2 piece rims on my Cefiro that could do with a nice paint job They should come up a treat Will do a "How TO" of it if your interested
  15. I have alot of spare time so am willing to help out in any way that is needed to set up some kind of regular drift event in perth. Im sick of practising on the streets, it too dodgy
  16. Does anyone know how to identify a R200 I cant find anything in repair manuals, im guessing i have a R200 in my cefiro at present. I need to swap my diff to register it as the cops in WA aint exactly mech. LSD friendly I have checked out s13 diff(unsure if its turbo or non turbo as is out of car) but the drive shaft has different bolt up points
  17. I used a red metaliic color callled metal cast, comes out awesome. I have only done the coil pack cover as you. I is heat resistant to around 500 degree's but only intermitantly. Might not be suitable for rocker covers
  18. You can count me in two
  19. Just use those zip ties to hold it on mate they work a charm makes it so much easier to remove to repair drift damage
  20. Go and buy yourself 4 or 8 litres of paint thinners from supershit(cheap) auto find a tub big enough to to lay down the cooler in it and pour that nasty stuff all over it let it soak for a couple of days and you sould be able to blow off any residue with a compressor should be a bit cheaper than paint stripper if you buy the ultra cheap thinners just leave the stuff in a well ventilated area as you dont want to do blowing yaself up now do you
  21. Hey man i have a Blitz in cabin boost controller for sale my car has been running up to 1.2 bar of boost through it is for sale, name your price personal message me or email at [email protected]
  22. Has any one else got knowlegde of using these cables i need to get my done to compliance it so wouldnt mind a bit of info
  23. Have any of you guys had you computer's remapped to run on 98 octane petrol would like to hear any experiences people have had after getting their ECU reprogrammed Coils seem to be part of this problem of missfiring, but im sure the low octane ratings of aussie petrol are having a significant affect on performance Most of this cars would be running on petrol with octane ratings of 100 or more in japan
  24. Look behind the kick panel on the drivers side there is a plug which suspiciously looks like a computer link think it may be the one(hoping)
  25. Listen to what Rolls has to say I jsut put some octane boost/fuel system cleaner through my car and my car revs straight out now, no stopping, popping, nothing is the only thing that has changed since i taped up my coils. taping fixed it for a week but then it went back to normal i think i may definately have to get my computer reprogrammed to run on 98 octane fuel as i cant afford to be buying octane boost ever tank of fuel
