  1. Its time to sell my rex, I need to move this thing fairly quickly, as id like to get started on my new project, full details below, as well as a couple of pics, i will post up new pics this weekend of the car as ill have a digicam in my hands. MY00 <2000> Model sedan WRC Blue 67,000 km factory 16" wheels, tyre are low, but still above the markers DBA fronmt brake rotors with ferodo pads Jaycar response splits in the front jaycar response 6" 2 way speakers in the rear shelf Factory tape deck The paintwork was recently cleaned up, all nicks and scratches removed, and the bonnet was repsrayed to get rid of any stone chips it had. there are a couple of pin dents, but its to be expected from a car that was parked in car parks at any time, It has also just had the driver side rear 1/4 and rear bumper resprayed, after a drunken tool reversed into it, so the paintwork, is basically perfect, and as good if not better than when it left the dealer. The interior is in good condition, some of the door handles have some nicks in them from when i was using the car for work, and computers slid into them a couple of times, it has subaru floor mats, and all the seats and in excellent condition.. Now the car itself can com in a couple of configs, Either stock as a rock, or modifed with the parts listed below Whiteline front and rear sway bars, the rear is a XRD 29mm 3 position adjustable unit Whiteline rear subframe bushes Whiteline rear subframe locking pins Whiteline Anti lift kit Camber bolts x 4, 2 for the rear, 2 for the front to further compliment the factory camber bolts A couple of different exhaust setups 3" HKS dump pipe, modified to have an external screamer pipe for the waste gate A 3" stainless system, with a rear canon muffler A 3" mild steel straight through pipe Neither of the systems have any cats in them, the mild steel system was made by quickfit in balcatta, and the stainless system was made by Baz the old speedworks mechanic and myself, swapping between the two different setups is a mere matter of jacking the car up, undoing a 13mm nut which hold the v-band join together, and then unhooking the setups from the rubber hangers, will take about 10 minutes to swap the muffled to non muffled system, or vice versa Front mounted intercooler, measuring in at 700by300by70, with stainless pipework, this was made up by myself, and welded by a friend, the welding is a bit tacky, but totally functional, the core itself is a cut down scania truck core, and it works very efficiently, eg, after ten hard laps of waneroo the exit side of the intercooler was at or below ambient temprature. A boot mounted 800CCA Odessy Battery, to facilitate the cooler pipework, with 4 guague cable carrying the juice up to the front A MY99 ecu, which has a different tune to a MY00 ecu, which gives it a bit more power And the modified centre diff, to make the car RWD only.. I have all the parts to swap between modified, and stock setups, so stock exhaust, stock suspension, and a stock bumper, to swap between the modified one for the front mount, or if its running the top mount, the factory bumper with the foglights installed. The car has been serviced every 6 months without fail, and after run in, has only ever used mobile or elf synthetic oils, the top and bottom radiator hoses, and coolant was replaced last year, and the diff and gearbox oils have been changed regurally Now as most people know the history of my car, im not going to lie about it, it was used for a large amount of motorsport like MC, the speed event series, classic challenge/rally and when rwd a bit of drifting... However Most of the drive line has since been replaced, the rear diff, tail shaft, and the back end of the box, eg the rear casing, centre diff and drop gears have been replaced... The gear set, itself works fine, second and 4th is notchy, but i imagine different oil blends would remove most of this, and the car has only ever run organic factory clutches, no brass button or puck units, and it was only ever launched at 4500-5000 rpm, no rev limit launches, which is why it still has the same gears it left the factory with.. When set up properly, and running on r-comps it was a very quick and competitive car in the MC series, won me the top driver award at the classic rally in 2002, would lap waneroo in 70 seconds on the old surface, so id say an easy high 60 second time now, and collie in high 56's, and was good for 13.2 down the 1/4 with the passenger and rear seats removed and stuff like the spare tyre jack etc turfed out... So its with a bit of sadness im putting her up for sale, but my priorities have changed, and so has the direction i want to go in with regards to motorsport, so i can't see any reason to keep her anymore... I have a couple of price options, given that the gearbox is kinda sad, I have two prices i will part with her for.. $23,000-$23,500 if you want the car, with a new gear box in it, i will obtain a brand new box, or box and diff if you want 4.11 ratios over the cars 3.9, and install it, so there is nothing to worry about as such.. or $22,000 if you want the car as is, id say the gearbox will be happier with some different oil in it, i will change the current oil with some fresh mobil oil, however, id say something like redline shock proof will make it happier as well, i however will not use redline oils, id rather pour water and metal shavings into it before i use it.. Id like to think im being realistic with the price, so im pretty firm on it, there is a tiny bit of leeway, but not much, given that at a dealer, they would be asking close to, if not the 30k mark, given the amount of km on it.. but as with anything, I am open to offers, this car would suit someone whos keen to do a pile of club level motorsport, or just wants something with some fruit for the street.. Or if returned back to stock, a reliable daily run about.. If your interested, i can be contacted on 0411 59 49 48, [email protected], or PM me here on the forums.. Id like to keep my plates to, however, as one day i intend to get another rex, however, if someone wishes to pay some extra for them, id be willing to part with them. Cheers PS, im not looking to seperate it, everything listed and some spares i haven't got listed will go with the car, If the new owner wants them, so until its sold im not looking to seperate anything, and if there is left over bits to sell ill post them up..
  2. tj your on of the reasons im going, the restraining orders haven't stopped you following me, so i have to change state!
  3. ah its at home, but ill have a look tonight.. that said, i don't wish to seperate any of it, id like it to go together, as selling the charger off kind of renders it a lot harder to sell..
  4. Im over waiting, im moving east and this is one of the reasons why im going.. melbourne here i come, oh, and ****ing cold weather
  5. 8. was told the other night, that apperently, it is finished.. get in touch with the motorplex for dates of events
  9. if you feel you have been victumised like this, go down to the welshpool pits, ask to speak to reno makezi and tell him the story, if he feels its bullshit enough he'll probably pull the sticker and not charge anything.. this does happen ocasionally as yes, the cops are stickering for bullshit things
  10. happy birthday pie! hope you had a good night last night, 22 and still partying, woo!
  11. all fours and rotaries also run track days, www.allfours.org.au they have a track day at collie comming up, which has been delayed to august due to the track rebuild down there, they have run waneroo days in the past, but the cost of hiring waneroo 3kish is somewhat preventative to running them now.. joining the WASCC is another way, membership is about $215 according to the website, and renewual is about $180, this allows you to hit the track on tuning days for $40 odd, saddly they arn't very drift friendly, and you'll get a talking to if you try.. your also meant to only go at 80% of your capabilities, no on ever does but they say to only go that hard.. collie is your best bet, just saddly atm, as it has been since the start of the year, they are doing some big upgrades down there, which have been delayed due to weahter and other issues, which sucks, as it'll have been nearly 9 months since legal drifto by the timewe get there in august..
  12. Uhmmm, blackmoores are in the goldfish catergory, as they normally don't live in heated tanks and are common pond, or unheated tank fish.. not what id call a tropical, the eyes do make em a spot exotic.. i remember one of the eyes falling off my blackmoore ages ago..
  13. dudeeeee! i want j00r fishies and the tank! read your private message!
  14. you have a pm dude..
  15. Pie tah for noticing, ive been trying to keep it quiet, jason/uneekwan rang me this morning so i guess it had to come out some time.. As for the freaky twin thing, well i guess i better fess up, troy and i are really the logans on big brother atm, yes troys undies smell.. troy wish i could explain how i learnt to drive like that, im still waiting for the offers of drives from ferrari and prodrive when schuie and solberg retire.. heres hoping.. Kim *reow* look out big boy and paul im suprised too, i figured id be dead by now..
  16. And because you own a skyline, is the only reason ill never buy one :shake:
  17. WASCC membership is also $180 bucks a yr and to make best use of it you have to hit all the events, read v8's trucks and the normla race meets.. advantages $35 from memory tuning days where you can lap at 80% *wank* of your ability around the track disadvantages, farking expensive unless you use it properly allfours is $30 a yr if you help out at an event, and all the members are tops people, eg me!
  18. pffft i hit thunderdome number 1 at the midland rail yards woot! damn im showing my age..
  19. Ive got a thunderdome lighter round as well, good ol thing it is too.. dunno where ive put it lately, i must find him
  20. michael jackson would go down for just one of them.. i can't belive no one else has said that yet
  21. Nah i meant paul got you crank, and fireworks happened, but anyway sore chest eh?, sure it wasn't the other stuff that caused that, you know, after the hug.. and sorry bout that, ill be sure to look after your assets more carefully next time
  22. paul got you a bit cranky?
  23. Uhmm actually, its quite easy on the hill climbs, just, speaking from experience here, the circut sprints its a little harder, but can still, and has happened.. That said, ratchet straps fix all
  24. Mc CAN be expensive.. time you factor in, the $70 entry, $90 in a cams licence, anything from $30-180 for a club membership to a cams affiliated club, wack on a set of r-comps at around $1200 which will last 6 months to a yr, and start modding, it does become an expensive time..
  25. Not everyone has a desire to go hurtling up hills and run the risk of burying it into the tree's, or in my case, armco.. There are people out there who do motorsport, but theres also stuff like drifting, the MC series, AEM classic challenge/rally and speed dome days, and the good ol drags.. Plenty of people out there doing it, its just not everyones cup of tea..
