The government are elected by the people of this state and as such should work for the benefit of this State not other States. If this Government thinks for one moment that the Thousands of people who have volunteered there time and $$$ to make this event the success it is today are going to stand back and let the Rally simply be given away on a gold platted platter they are so wrong. Mr Franklin said I would challenge the Minister for Tourism to a Public Debate on the benefits to the Community that Rally Australia provides. There are the Hundreds of jobs that are created as a result of the event, the huge impact on Businesses in the small Country Towns that the event visits, the estimated 66 million potential Tourists that watch the event on TV and not to mention the Large numbers of people that visit from both Interstate and Overseas. The Government has to change its mind and admit that this decision is a big mistake. If it doesn't there is every possibility that this Land mark event will be lost forever and could end up leaving Australia's Shores. My number one priority is ensuring that the event stays in Perth and if that can't be achieved then to ensure it stays in Australia. We may have had a small turnout at our Rally last week but at a time when people have to work it is going to be difficult. This is why we will march at night. I anticipate that we will get 500 to 1000 people attending this rally. The Rally will take place on Tuesday the 5th of April 2005 at 6.00pm. We will march from Forest Place along William Street into Hay Street then up to the Steps of Parliament House where it is hoped that the Minister for Tourism or Premier will address us. first out door event my ass.. unless you mean for you.. the very first one was years ago, at belvoir, josh wink played, and they had a big fake beach, inflateable pools, some funky stuff, and that random bungy trampoline thing.. we drank vb, sat in the pools and chilled all day, it rocked large anyway, nearly only one week left to go..

I think you'll find it is compareable to roller dynos, usually on cars that are making reasonable power 2-300ish the figures are usually 10ish or so hp different from the hub to a dyno dynamics unit.. where you will see big differences is big hp cars which see wheel spin on roller dynos, when you eliminate the wheel spin factor you can see very big power differences, also incorrectly tied down cars, under inflated tyres etc can also make a roller dyno figure change... as can having a couple of fat blokes sitting in the boot to stop it wheel spinning..

Far as i understood, the only people in aus who can tune hks f-con are BD4's in the east, and you had to pass a course run in japan before you where allowed to tune them..

Theres a few groups trying to organise stuff, just sit tight a bit.. it takes a lot more than just a few guys saying hey, lets organise a drift day, YEAH!.. theres a lot of background effort that goes into it, trust me..

the usual method is to get a punch and a hammer to loosen up the locking ring.. but it screws them up.. also another pointer, make sure the thread is clean of any grit/small rocks/sand, as gettign these caught up in the thread of the spring base plate will **** the adjuster very quickly, and cutting them off with a hacksaw so you cxan replace them is a pain... i recomend a bath in wd 40, and a rag to clean it up, and if you have access to it, compressed air of some sort, either form a can or air compressor..

There called C spanners, and you'll need two of them.. can obtain them from most suspension shops, try wheels world 9244 2277

its not so much a lack of interest.. its more a lack of willingness by the local providers of the tracks, waneroo are so utterly backwards and archaic in there thinking, that any new and exciting form of motorsport they tend to run and hide from.. collies a fair hike away, and the new airport circut, may one day do drifting, but atm, there not to keen on it, and theres not much you can do about it.. was in SA last weekend for the drift nats, and they've got it so good over there, pretty mcuh every week, legal drifto, and the SA sporting car club is right behind it and even considering making changes to the way mallala is laid out to make it even better for drift.. wish the WA sporting car club was like that.. ultimately, if you have 3.5k to hire the track, and then cash to get permits, you can run drift days.. id say waneroo will be a long way off getting a clue and realising its a good thing, instead of shunning it like everything else
