  1. About the same as they do now.. they can't.. Im gunna wait till im in my early 30's before i buy, no point doing it now as im still not on what i consider a good enough income to cover it, id like to be around the 100k mark before i look at buying a place..
  2. Perth doesn't follow the east identically no, but on a whole, the country follows each side, sydney and melbourne are two different markets, and both have crash, as has QLD, its only really a matter of time for it to happen in perth.. Im basing it on that this is the same style of climate the country was in when we had the last recession in the early 90's, stuff like the oil price being incredibly high, large amounts of companies laying off large groups of workers to cut costs, the australian dollar hit incredible lows last year, its since recovered but its not as high as it has been, and stuff like the oil price being so high will all have a bearing on this, its just like it was some 20 years ago before the recession of 91.. This came from several real estate agents that i spoke with, i dealt with them on a daily basis in my last job, and the issue they all spoke of was people not wanting to move due to the costs, its a real life situation, people don't want to move because they are loosing money hand over fist if they do so.. Once stuff like stamp duty is abolished, people will once again be eager to move, if housing prices where at the same level they where 18 months 2 yrs ago, people would be moving without a worry because the associated costs would be a lot less, but witht he over inflated prices that housing is at the moment, forget it.. Perth is a highly desirable place to live i agree.. however, We're on the other side of the country, the next clostest main city is adelaide, which is a 4-5 hour flight, or a 2-3 day drive away, where as all the other capitals you can be in the next main capital in less than a day, we're too far from anything, and this is why property is a lot cheaper than it is in the east, less people, less demand as such, but we also earn a lot less on a average per person.. The problem with all that is, while some people can afford to buy more than one property, and don't get me wrong, i think its a great investment, the issue lies in that if there is a greater demand for property, and less people can afford to buy, so they have to rent, yet everyone increases the cost of the rent, how are those people who struggle to afford to buy a house, going to be able to pay rent if it costs too much?.. this is where the bigger issues start happening, you get a lot more people unable to aforrd to rent, buy food, live, put kids through school etc etc, the divide between the well to do and the poor gets bigger and bigger, im all for people doing well for themselves, but when it adversely affects an entire city, something has to break, property values will have to go down... Property is a safe option, but lets face it, if average people can't afford to buy it, how will the market grow, its the 9-5 family types who generate the big housing expansions, but when it starts to cost to much, things come to screaming halt, which im fairly certain will happen within the next 2 years..
  3. It won't fall that much in peth no, but its a pretty good guage to base things against, lets face it, WA eventually follows the same trends as the east, they had a surge is housing prices, so are we, they had a price crash, so will we, the only thing thats prevented it happening here YET, is the resource sector is so strong in WA, that its pushing the economy along, however, it has to stop eventually, otherwise we're heading straight for a recession situation again.. Its not the first house thats the issue, its the people who currently own that house you would be buying as your first that are not moving into the 600k house, because it will cost them 70k, they don't move, you don't have a house to move into, thus creating a shortage of established reasonably prices housing for people trying to get into the market, the moment stamp duty is axed you will suddenly see a pile of pre existing housing come up for grabs in a big hurry.. It not a stupid statement, perth prices are insane at the moment, they are so far out of the reach of most people, something has to give, and i can guantee you employers suddenly won't be giving everyone 40% pay rises to cover the cost of the housing price increases, perth was underpriced in the housing market, but it was more than caught up with those prices, and then gone over them, people can't afford to buy houses now because of this, something has to give, and it'll be property prices.. you can't have a market if there is no one with the money to buy, the housing prices will have to come down at some point..
  4. The perth bubble will pop, and im guessing it won't be too far off now, the eastern states burst a couple years back now, and people on average lost 150-200k of value in the housing, they are now rooted, they have to sit on those suckers for a good 10-15 yrs to see a return now.. couple of friends just nsapped up a place in qld at a good price, already has tenants in it, they're just gunna let that one apreciate over time.. but as for perth, id say give it another year, saddly ripper, the wanker won't chop the stamp duty out of this years budget, which is one of the main reasons people are not selling up and moving atm, which causes prices to go up due to increased demand and not much of a market, as it costs around 70k to shift house, thats money you don't see, it goes in fee's duty etc, its farked.. id say 12-18 month, the bubble will burst, and value will crash, its got to, if the economy keeps going the way it is, say hello to a recesion..
  5. Injectors you will find are the same impedance <high>, GT-R injectors are low impedance and require a ballast resistor, the rb25 PFC should work without needing to rewire anything, should be able to just plug it in, set the options, and start the car, if i can run an rb26, using a complete rb25 loom inc coils packs and coil loom, from an rb20 ecu, without touching the wiring, it should not be a hassle.. You'll probably need to spec a series 1 rb25 pfc, as i think the series 2 does change some of the wiring, i could be wrong however
  6. And if possible can you show us some pics, or an explanation of the rear of the head oil return line, im somewhat curious.. cheers
  7. Its the new polarizer, all they need is a pic of Brockie giving the thumbs up.. Nearly ended his career last time, maybe it'll finish him off this time.. ahh memories
  8. can also go the way of the rb20 loom on a 26, or in my case, an rb25 loom running the 26 with an rb20 ecu with a rom board in it... depending on application/car etc
  9. Kym has 4 door envy maybe he has a kid on the way, and is just in denial about buying a 4 door car
  10. you can indeed use an rb25 ecu on an rb20, pinouts on the ecu are identical, difference being that the 25 ecu has an extra wire for the VVT solenoid, which doesn't exist in the rb20 loom
  11. Correct, i supplied them with a set of jun goodies to drop into it, make sure they have the tools to pull out the old guides and push in the new ones, harris had a bunch of tools they'd made to do this and ive had no issues thus far with my head.. when it comes to getting shims contact precision shims in victoria, www.precisionshims.com.au i rang them up, they had everything on the shelf, eft'd the cash, they turned up in the mail the following morning, couldn't ask for better service..
  12. harris engineering in ossie park did mine, was about 6-700 bucks all up from memory for getting all the guides removed, and replaced, reseat all the valves, replaced the stem seals, acid cleaned everythings and reasembled with the springs i supplied them..
  13. If its pumping oil out of the oil feed line it sounds like theres oil going through it, have you got the factory sender hooked up? cheers
  14. I went through this myself a little while ago.. Heres what i ended up doing.. Back fed it through the factory oil pressure sender pickup, it'll take a while as it needs to fill the oil filter and whatever else is in there.. back cranked the motor by hand, eg the reverse direction to try and suck some oil into the pump.. jacked the back of the car up as high as it would go on the jack, and poured about 8 litres of oil into the sump.. not sure which one worked over all, as we tried a few things along the way but it picked up pressure.. we drained the excess oil from the sump, and its run fine ever since.. It was a _very_ long hour for me, so i understand what not getting pressure is like.. did you make sure the bearings copped a good dose of oil, or in my case, vasoline, whcih doesn't run off same goes for all the cam bearing etc..
  15. considered a bikirom?, www.bikirom.com will plug into the standard rom/sock and you can tune it out the wazoo
  16. waiting waiting waiting nearly there WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOO! waiting waiting waiting alllmost WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! id say it'll be fairly laggy, you might wish to consider something smaller
  17. www.precisionshims.com.au Once you work out the shims you need, get in touch with that company..
  18. happens in all makes and models of cars, some people can drive, some can't, and some think they can but can't.. many a skyline owner has fallen to the same fate
  19. speedworks and hyperdrive can both do retuning of the factory ecu's, while you don't get the handcontroller you do with a pfc, the results are pretty much the same
  20. if you got some properly machined spacers, with CBL rings machined in, and put longer than factory wheel studs in, you would be on the money and it'd be totally safe, and more than likely satisfy the cops with a suitable explatnation given as to why you run them, eg rim offset is correct that said, a lot of cars do run small tolerances between calliper to rim..
  21. Got a set of 264 9.7mm jun cams stuffed into my 26, currentlythey are set to zilch, have the instruction that came with them, but like all good things from japan, the instructions are in jap.. anyone have some english goods, or have any info on setting these suckers up right? cheers
  22. If you read through the ADR's you'll find that after a certain period of time, ten years from memory, someone correct me if they know better, its considered financially unviable to keep a car to its required emission levels, in effect it means you can run without a cat imho as its considered part of the emissions.. which really makes me laugh as the cops have no idea about stuff like the ADR's, there was a thing on today tonight a while ago about people being done in chapel street vic i think it was, and they where defecting an old series 1/2 rx7 for having half the emissions pipes blocked up.. yet the ADR's allow for this.. go figure..
  23. somewhere between 20 and 30k in two months got you all beat nyerrrr
  24. Chasing a single RB26 squirter if anyone has one, 440cc sized pm if able to help cheers
  25. I bashed mine out from the inside of the cover, stuck a suitable sized rod/head of bolt into the inside of the breather outlet, and smacked it out with a hammer.. don't this without lots of care if you don't want to reuse the outlet tho, i just had dash ten fittings welded to mine, so damaging them wasn't of much concern
