99% sure they didn't unless they have been added after factory by the owner. Not hard to do but they are hideously expensive. I priced them new from nissan and I am sure they were over a grand each (it was a while ago now). Cheapest I have seen them is $800 for the pair second hand. You have to modify the wiring as all the plugs are different.

Series 1 (1995) Series 2 (1996-97) got the nicer airbag steering wheel and passenger airbag standard Series 3 (1997-98) got the red stitching everywhere, xenon headlights, stronger synchros in the gearbox, and extra body stiffening. . . . . Might be other things, but that is all I know.

Saw a very sweet V35 GT today down the coast. Was very nice. . . Cheers for the comments guys, the more I drive it the more I am forgetting the GTR. I am loving the fuel economy, I forgot how much better GTSTs are over GTRs in that respect.

Yep, another series 2. Just stumbled across this one by accident, think it must be fate. I did think about a 34, but I just like my 33s. And they don't come much newer than this 97 model, manual was a must, and it has ABS too which the last one didn't have. Hopefully it all turns out ok

I lost it in a messy separation Dave. And I missed it, so now I have my own again. The GTR was really beginning to get a little too impractical, that is not to say I am not completely gutted now, but I am sure it is the right decision in the long run.

I have the mini still for old school. . . . . . It is slightly younger than the GTR, but it DOES have 4 doors. . . . .

The price here has dropped massively in recent times as the cost of compliance has been slashed and the import duty has been dropped from what I here. The cost in Japan hasn't really dropped that much at all. Just feel for me, I bought my 33 GTR bit over 2 yrs ago, searched for the most perfect one I could lay my hands on, cost FOB 2.5mil yen, 15% duty + 10%GST, plus $7500 compliance as I was one of the 1st to go through the RAWS system. OUCH!!!!! But having said that, it has been the most enjoyable car I have owned so far by far. . . . .

Nah, won't be as expensive as the last. I am over having sooo much money tied up in a vehicle. Going for something a little more practical Will post a couple of pics when I get it tom. . . . . I am guessing I will be about 1 or 2 sec a lap slower at Q.R.

I have bought 2 cars through Phil, and couldn't be happier with the cars and the service.

GTR goes tomorrow, and a new car will be in the gargage. . . . . . I wonder what it will be hehe

Cheers mate, unfortunately alot don't appreciate a super clean car, or appreciate mods that improve and make more reliable a car that is pretty good to start with. . . . Anyway, have found my next car, offers of high 30s will be considered during the next week otherwise chances are I will just trade it in. Don't bother with mid 30K offers as that is what the trade will be.

The compliance workshop organised everything for me, gave me his trade plates and I drove my car to the nearest Transport Dept. with all the necessary paperwork and got it registered. Then returned the trade plate and drove my car home wearing the biggest smile ever
