  1. Was another good day, a bit hot, but still heaps of fun! My personal camera man got some good pics And the incar video is pretty cool too, but its a little large.....
  2. Hey Peter, Good to hear you are back on the road. The run out to Ipswich would be good way to start the running process. . Just finished installing a new larger grill in the inner guard behind the oil cooler in an effort to keep the temperatures down a little. Tomorrow will be a good test for it.
  3. I will be at the Clubman sprints on Saturday, if anyone else is keen feel free to come say hello or come out for a go. It always good to get a nice group of skylines out there
  4. Yep, I am definately keen for the pics. Was hoping something like this was done.
  5. nice selection Haven't seen many pics yet. They are some quality shots.
  6. I will probably be out there on Saturday 10th for the Clubman sprints, thinking of going out there Sunday as well to see what the Topgear Racing is all about. I am keen to give it a go......
  7. May not be there now, my car got keyed and the passenger side rearview mirror got ripped off last night...... not a happy camper!
  8. Hey, Happy Bday Dirk!
  9. I collected my sheets, they are the best time sheets I have ever seen by far. Well done.....
  10. Thats about right. I ran consistant low 1:04s in my old GTST on the sprint layout with just a cat-back exhaust, pod filter, stock boost and Yokohama A539s 235/45 R17, in the dry of course.... Might bring the 33 sedan out for the next one too, see what it can do, That will keep me busy for the day
  11. I love that pic! Might be time for some cat-out pipes for the next track day, I want flames!
  12. Sorry for the lack of reply, haven't checked this in a while. Send a PM if you want more info, more likely to check that, cheers. I am at Taringa in Brisbane Bump!
  13. Conditions out there yesterday were terrible, so very slippery. The wet conditions certainly kept everyone on there toes. September 10 is the next Saturday arvo Sprint, you thinking of going out to that?
  14. Sweet thanks Paul. Just one more thing, I have nothing against 32s but can my details be changed to 33 GTR.
  15. I am a big fan of Chapman & Chapman, the guy doesn't have a workshop full of race cars for no reason. Its sometimes takes a while, can be expensive but the work is always A1. Has done many many GTRs, there is always at least one in the shop. Just don't go in there like you are an expert on everything, otherwise you will just be walking straight out again
  16. I think we need a new time category for the rain days
  17. Was a good day, shame about the rain. But was still fun never been out in the rain before. Anyone who has some good pics, I am keen to get my hands on them. . . . . .
  18. less than 24hrs now. . . . . . .
  19. Its getting close. . . . . . can't wait. Not sure what times I will be running, would be real happy with a low 1:03 or maybe sneak into a 1:02 on the clubman and a flat minute or under on the sprint. That would keep me smiling for weeks
  20. I will be in one of the club displays, no racing for me, too slow.....
  21. Yokohama ES100 265/35 R18 Dry: 8/10 Wet: 9/10 Overall: 8.5/10 I have found these to be a very good tyre, in the wet they are magic. They can be a little noisey on highway driving but nothing too serious and suprisingly I am getting quite good wear. Have done nearly 30000ks on them now, including a couple of track days and a couple of trips to the drags, and they still have quite a bit of life left in them! Dunlop DO2G 235/45 R17 Dry: 10 I only run on these at the track days, they came with a set of rims I purchased as designated track set. Can't compare with other semis but these have an unbelievalble amount of grip at the track compared with even good road tyres. Not sure if you would try to use them on your road car cause of wear and they would be damn noisey, but the grip!
  22. When I 1st got my old GTST it had dodgy indicators on the GTR style front bar too. I ended up getting some genuine ones which look the goods but are worth a fortune. I really like the GTR front bar, not that I am biased, nice work!
  23. Transfered my money today Paul. Should be a good day.
  24. Yes you do need them
  25. I didn't hear it but I remember with my old GTST I thought I heard it pinging a few times down the straights and I remember someone telling me they could hear it from the pit wall too. When I noticed it, it was quite warm so I put it down to heat soak with the small stock intercooler.
