  1. woah, they are all coming out of the wood work now hehe They have level 1 & 2 sprints on the sprint layout and this year have added sprint days on the clubman layout. It good variety. And if you are lucky enough to get time off mid week, the private track days are even better.....
  2. haha, its only cause you were half asleep in the luxury pimp mobile. You need more induction/exhaust noise with some really hard suspension to keep you alert
  3. Bummer, Hello stranger, haven't seen you out at QR in ages. I have heard all about the tricky ECU business though. I will be out there again soon.......just waiting for the finishing touches on the GTR...... Nice time btw...... Good to see the silver beast is still going strong...... And no more trips to the gravel trap
  4. I have them in 245/45 R17 on my GTR, they were put on for compliance. They are currently on my 33 GTST sedan. Comparing them to the Yoko ES100s I have on the GTR now is like chalk and cheese, but at half the price that is to be expected. However, I have found them pretty good in the dry, not high grip levels but very predictable.....in the wet, well I wouid suggest being alot more careful..... And as said above, they do wear well.....
  5. Will confirm ASAP. I had a look at my car today and it has no engine Fingers crossed it will be ready in time. . . . .
  6. I won't be there, something has come up
  7. If my car is ready, I will be there. Probably can't confirm till closer to the date, if there are no spots then I will have to wait for the next one..... fingers crossed.
  8. :uh-huh:
  9. I could be interested in a few weeks, I will let you know. . . . .
  10. I give a tick for Chapman and Chapman. Well I hope I do, my car is there now. . . . . . .
  11. There has been a couple of piss poor showers, thats about all. There is always next week, doesn't worry me, I will still be GTR less
  12. I got 197awkw on the mercury motorsport dyno with just the exhaust and a nismo panel filter(stock boost also). Still got the stock dumps for the minute, but one of the things going in atm is a pair of hks dumps to finish the exhaust. I am interested to see what, if any, difference they make.
  13. haha, well considering the engine is being pulled it wont be available. Damn baffled sumps! . Anyway, CES fitted mine and just used 2 normal 2.5" cats and tilted them sideways to fit, not sure if this picture shows it properly though. The bar only melts when I go to the track, cause it is such a big heavy exhaust, when doing serious corners it must press against the side of the gap for the zaust. You mustn't be driving hard enough eh?? hehe, jokes :Pimp2:
  14. Only problem is I will be in either the sedan or mini as the GTR is away getting a few more goodies added to it. Got one question, is your dual dragger melting your rear bar?
  15. My car goes next late next week for a whole bunch of things including a Nismo Gmax spec II. I got the Nismo operating cylinder and braided clutch line too so I am keen to see how is goes. I have heard the new coppermix is very nice though, and so far looks like you are confirming it Nick. Nice work.

    Help

Haha, you are a bit taller than me I suppose, but I used to fit! Try what Eug said, otherwise not sure, gtr seats are definately lower.
  17. Yeah, this dude must be doing the forum rounds. Its just his dad's business at best. Couldn't answer any real questions about any of the cars last time so I guess that says it all. Might just be his neightbour for all we know?? Nice cars all the same. Have a nice day

  19. and a few more. . .
  20. A few pics of the cars that were there today. . .
  21. Was a damn good day! Cheers Peter. Was a little unkeen due to a suspected exhaust manifold leak but hey, once your out there you can't say no. I managed a best of 1:05.56 for the Clubman track and 1:02.50 for the sprint track. But had to end a little earlier as the suspected exhaust manifold leak became an obvious exhaust manifold leak It was worth it. Thanks again Peter. Once I get this fixed I will be super keen for the next!
  22. hmmmm, I am just going on the three cars I have registered, that were previously not registered, in the last 15 months and all 3 were thoroughly checked, GTR, GTST, and the mini....... go figure??
