Yeah, scared the crap outer me when I first saw the big oil slick under the car, quickly identified it though as the Gemini has done a similar thing just not quite as spectacular. Gavin was quite impressed by the amount of oil completly covering the underside of the car, and the oil stink from the oil burning on the exhaust.

Best to replace the timing belt, I had to replace mine 10000k after I changed it for the 100000k service after the crank case seal let go spraying oil everywhere and on the belt. Gavin said it was best to change it again and I kinda agree.

They do fit a 33 GTST but expect them to rub a little on full lock, otherwise they are good. I have them fitted to my GTST at the moment.

Yeah, doesn't matter how you are driving now, just come off throttle and watch the revs fall nicely to idle, and no snap, crackle, pop between gears now too. Is good, and Jill is happy. Have to get my finger out now and fit the stockies I got for the GTR but it looks to be a big job, so I am working up to that one.

Hey James, Thanks for the BOV mate. Fitted it that night, works fine. Its amazing how much better it runs with the standard bov on, have never run it without an atmo bov. Cheers mate. Only just made it back in time for my physio appointment, damn Brisbane peak hour traffic.

You would go close, would be hell scary though! If only you had out your car up for sale a few weeks earlier Marlin, I would have a GTR ready to go then, I am finding its a damn expensive hobby starting from scratch.

Ah yes, forgot to mention that it works fine with my HKS Type 1 TT. My car is not a daily driver, but I take it everywhere on weekends and the biggest fear I have is losing my badges, I have been told to expect this to happen at some stage. But I have a 4dr coming in soon for my better half to use and it will be a daily driver and left in similar situations to yours Mr_G. It will be getting the same treatment.

There is a distributor for the Elfin Clubman in Sumner park somewhere (I used to have their card). I pulled one of the guys over once when they were on their way home from Q.R. Might be worth a chat also. Didn't ask what times they were doing. 57/58 sec, thats pretty snappy, well compared to my stock GTST times. A dato 1600 with a stock SR20 will do low/mid 12s and be super reliable, I am sure with the right suspension and brakes you would get the times you are chasing and be way under budget. And would be cheap to run/repair.
