  1. 21 huh, better make it a big one. There aren't any birthdays of any note after that, just 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and that will do for me I think.
  2. Meh, I don't know how many times I have heard, "but its the same as your other one". You get used to it after a while.
  3. Did I read back there you are turning 21 soon Nizmo?
  4. See Glenn, explanation required!
  5. I have got time to watch it. :spcartman
  6. What do you mean by this Glenn???? I am confused
  7. Just had the most boring meeting with this engineer, had to go through and check a bunch of "as- constructed" drawings to make sure they were correct. BORING!
  8. I am still undecided about tonight activities, I think I will make it up as I go, don't want to commit to anything
  9. Looks better from the drivers seat.
  10. Afternoon slackers
  11. Nice work squizz
  12. Yep, GTRs run hot when giving them a bit of a hammering. I have been warned by many people now not to even think about taking the GTR to Q.R. until I have a nice oil cooler, a decent sump baffle setup, bigger oil pump, and bigger radiator. This has been told to me by Ernie (Skyline imports), Gavin Woods, Bruce (LEDA suspension) to name a few, and Sydneykid has also mentioned this. So unitil these things are completed on me car, my Sprint Events at Q.R. are over, not taking the risk. I can get the oil temp in mine to the "near danger zone" with a quick drive through the mountains, hate to think what it could get to on the track.
  13. Pfffftttt! So I will see you at WB then??????
  14. Getting ready to leave for Willowbank, Getting excited.
  15. Damn it, just burnt my finger, damn rice! Apricot Chicken and rice for my lunch. Cyrus is becoming famous
  16. Nicks car will be ok, it is an example of clock winding though IMO. A car with the amount of kays his has should not be suffering some of the problems he is facing. It will be a good car. The first 12 months of owning my GTST we spent buying replacement parts for all the broken and missing bits. Just have to hold off on the Go Fast Bits for a while. Best to have a nice tidy car, then a fast lump of crap that breaks down all the time. When I was your age Nick the mini was enough to keep me well and truely broke, let alone a skyline.
  17. Don't worry, one of the first lessons learned when you start messing around with car is :- its nothing that can't be fixed with the injection of large sums of money. In fact you can apply that to many things.
  18. Morning lads. Sounds like you are having a few car issues there Nick.
  19. Welcome, white skylines rock!
  20. plus tyres, plus rego and stamp duty, plus the cost of replacement parts to get to roadworthy condition (if required). There is testing (emissions, etc) and a full service, but also there is a list of things that have to be replaced, and replaced with genuine parts. (charcol boxes, brake pads, all filters, etc). You should see the cost of replacing brake pads on a 33 GTR with genuine nissan pads!!!!! OUCH!!!!!
  21. Yep, I was told the same thing. They just have to supply a tyre placard to suit the different rim. I am sure it is within reason though. I also heard that there is a relaxation in regard to bodykits too.
  22. Ahhh, didn't read that one. I pretty much work for myself. I work for Contourables (consists of me, my chainey, and Glenn), but Glenn is very close to retirement and I will take over from there. Pretty much have already, the only input he has is to sign the pay cheques and check the TAB results. Although, I am contemplating doing the civil eng. degree, just to get out of the sun. I am pretty much 3/4 the way through it anyway from the Surveying degree and partly finished IT degree. Most of our work comes from Civdec. Again, its nearly all subdivisions, with the occasional main roads job thrown in.
  23. I feel my own scientific experiment is necessary to verify these results.
  24. Ross did the drive by photos in Glenns car, they all look sweet.
