  1. I found out tonight that my digital camera is playing up, not the USBs on the puter. Everytime I plug the camera in to download the pics it just shuts down all my USB ports. Not cool. Should be still under warranty.
  2. Yeah, its alright.
  3. Hey, lets not get too carried away.
  4. Evening Gents. How are we all? I have to ask about the cruise to? Have to have one this week!
  5. Good evening, appears to be quiet in here tonight.
  6. I just found a pair of APEXi dual chamber blow-off valves! I wounder if I can find any other suprises.
  7. The GTR style bar on my GTST is about 140mm from the ground. Its not too bad as long as you are careful. I crunched it pretty bad a few months ago but that had nothing to do with the height. Opps! The Stock GTR is currently 200mm off the ground. Have to do something about that!
  8. Not sure I qualify as someone who "knows" how to drive a GTR yet, confidence is definately not there yet. Its a totally different car to drive than the GTST, it feels bigger, heavier, initial turn in is not as good, the seating position is a little different. It not heaps quicker than the GTST but feels torquier and can definately stretch its legs better on the highway! Even though it has a stock exhaust, the engine noise is completely different than the RB25. Basically totally different, can't wait to test it out properly at the track! Sorry to hear that Haro, its sooo frustrating waiting for the car to turn up, took about 5 weeks for mine to go through. It all worth it though. Can't wait to get a look at that carbon wing blade!! Still can't get any pics up, really hate computers sometimes, looks like I may have had a USB failure so my pics a trapped on my camera at the moment.
  9. Cheers, I fitted the BBS wheels last night, plus all the other little bits and peices. Also fitted the slotted rotors today, they look the business behind the wheels, thanks goes to "Dominic" for the rotors and the "vspecv" for the rims, they look great. SAU is full of bargains! I went to fit all the suspension bits today aswell but hit a snag. Went to pull the rear upper arm off the put the adj. cusco one on and it was so tight I broke the socket, so promptly gave up! Might have to get someone to fit it all.
  10. Yep, certainly did, just going to head out for another drive!
  11. Hi Guy, Ever seen a grinning idiot!
  12. Thats so fast its scary!
  13. MMMMMMMM, so much fun, pics tomorrow. Having issues with my USBs at the moment. Didn't take Glenn long to spot me! Had only just driven back from the Gold Coast at that time. I have to say at the moment I am VERY happy, it is soooo clean.
  14. 5 weeks is a tad excessive, but I am sure I won't be thinking about that tomorrow. Gotta go to the bank, might see you guys tonight, don't think i can concentrate long enough now to do assignments! Big weekend coming up fitting good bits to the GTR!!!!!!
  15. Pickup time 1:00pm Friday 26th March. I'm excited!!!!!!!!! :boobies2: :boobies2: :boobies2: Edit: Date correction, thanks twoquik, can't sit still, going to get bank cheque for compliance now!
  16. Hi guys, I am just trying to contain my excitement, tried ringing a few people but no one is answering. Guess what I get to pickup tomorrow!
  17. Well done markr34gtr! I haven't been out to willowbank for ages, last time I was out there you were just into the 12's. I might have to have a chat with you when my newly aquired GTR finally gets complied (been 5 weeks in the workshop!), get some tuning tips.
  18. I am still very keen! I will have the money to you as soon as I hear the word, need another chance to take you out on the time trials slip! There is hardly any tyre damage on an outing like this sxe32, all the water and diesel make sure the tyres get a minimal workout.
  19. I have got APEXi T-Max coilovers height and damper adjustable. The standard V-spec suspension isn't too bad but like you am chasing a little adjustability. I found the springs on the T-max's way too heavy and have had them changed to Kings springs at custom rates which will hopefully be nice. Won't get a chance to fit them for a couple of weeks but am very keen to see how they turn out. The king springs are nearly half the rate of the springs that came with the coilovers. I shall keep you informed.
  20. I should be in too, just have to see how this week pans out.
  21. I am in the process of getting some APEXi T-Max coilovers rebuilt. The springs that came with them (not sure if they were the originals) were VERY stiff, ie 550lbs front and 420lbs rear. I am currently getting the shocks rebuilt and the springs swapped for king spring versions, rated at 350lbs front and 200lbs rear. Check the spring rates before you buy, for a road car I don't think you would want much more than the kings that I am getting. I have never heard anyone complain about the results from fitting king or whiteline springs.
  22. Yeah, I am pretty sure I saw these listed on Nengun's new site too.
  23. Look like it was a big turnout! Typical that I couldn't go, Panadeine forte is my friend. Should be good to go again next week though, hopefully. Don't want to be walking around like this all week!
  24. I agree, I lined up against a stock WRX, the model before the round headlight one, at willowbank. He definately beat me over the first 150m but after that I just ran him down and had a good few car lengths by the finishing line. My car only had a pod filter and a cat back at the time and the terminal speed was only around 96mph so my car is not too much over stock HP, if at all. Wouldn't try it at the traffic light grand prix, or an STI anywhere.
