  1. Yup, fitting the dumps is a pain in the ass. Labour will cost you nearly as much as the dumps themselves unless you are going to do it yourself. I fitted the HKS ones to my old GTR when I had the engine out modifying the sump. I definately noticed the difference in response with them fitted. The TRUST ones are supposed to be better again. So glad to be away from the cost of the GTR
  2. *sigh* Can't wait to get out there again. . . . . .
  3. I am also interested in the seats, does anyone have any idea how how much the freight would be to Brisbane?
  4. Dan, is that speedo for a manual or auto?
  5. One question, I have yet to be contacted about getting some pics done, and if most of the pics have been done does this mean I am out? I am not goin to have a spew or anything, just so I know. . . . .
  6. Dave, the only parts off the GTR on the sedan are the rear camber arms, gear knob, oil and fuel caps. . . . . that is all. Power mods are kakimoto cat back, K&N panel filter, 10psi and 100mm thick side mount intercooler. That is all. Thanks for the pic Eug and Pete I was quicker than you, thats all that matters Or 13.93 if you need a reminder
  7. Cool Stuff. Just let me know a time a place and I shall try to accomodate. The new paint looks a bit of alright on the humble sedan. . . .
  8. You guys had a good display, well done. Was a good mix of cars, although a distinct lack of 33 sedans , and I have to say the parachute floor covering idea is definately the go. After the "little" problem we had with the organisers which meant over half of our group (including myself) pulled out we were lucky enough to get one trophy, the editors choice for Jamie's (Drpsi) Starlet.
  9. Depending on location I could do a driving range day/night.
  10. If it rains I may just come out, its always a little fun in the wet
  11. Friday Fine Min 16 Max 27 Saturday Shower or thunderstorm developing Min 17 Max 30 Sunday Possible late shower or thunderstorm Min 15 Max 27 Monday Fine Min 13 Max 25 Tuesday Fine Min 14 Max 26 Wednesday Fine Min 19 Max 24 Not sure on the weather forecast though, don't mind rain, don't want to be stuck out here with a possible severe storm. . .
  12. Getting tempted to go out for a run. . . . . I don't usually go out during spring and summer as a rule, but indy has got me itching to go back out there. . . . .
  13. I had been known to get a little sideways in my old GTR. It can be done, just requires a little more commitment
  14. Which car were you in??
  15. jlnewton, R33 GTST sedan, ET: 13.930, 60':2.131, MPH:97.38, TYRES:255/40/17, Shell V-power
  16. lol, there is always next time Warwick. . . . . . or maybe a few less mods. . . . .
  17. Well, I had a good night. Managed to real off a best of 13.930 @ 156.72kph. Not too shabby for a 33 sedan with a cat-back, 10psi, a k&n panel filter, and a good ole SMIC!
  18. Cool, well I am heading off. . . . Its a bit warm but should cool off a bit tonight.
  19. Is anyone else heading out there tonight? I shall be heading out with a few friends, has been ages since I have gone out and only the 2nd time I have taken the sedan for a blast. Want to see what I can squeeze out of it before the next round of mods. Might see you out there!
  20. GTRs can never have enough cooling, even with a TRUST 16row oil cooler and 57mm PWR radiator my old car used to see quite high oil temps and its was quite stock power wise. Hopefully the new GTST should be seing similiar times to the old GTR next year. Can't wait for the cooler months next year!
  21. Cool, the two 33 sedans would be the go I think, series 1 and series 2 vintage.
  22. Bummer I haven't had any internet access for the last 2 months. I just got my car back 3 weeks ago from a full respray. Looks pretty snazey for a sedan
  23. OI! You are doing the right thing. When I sold my GTR I still had to have a car to go to the track with, and although the GTST is not as quick (about 2.5-3sec a lap slower), it won't cost me as much to get it as quick and the money pit isn't quite as big and I am still out there having fun. BTW, didn't I pass you just after that pic I posted
