  1. Yeah I am a sticker free person myself, except when it come to supporting a club (or almost club in this case). The only stickers I have placed on my cars are the QLD mini car club sticker on the mini and now the SAU sticker on the line. It was amazing how many people pulled me up in the mini asking for membership info and when the next meet was. Club stickers are a good thing as long as they are not too out landish. I have not been able to put the sticker across the back window yet, as I think that one is a bit much, well for me anyway. Its a good way to spot fellow SAU members too!
  2. Don't know any history but have had a good look over it, didn't look too bad, but the guys there really didn't take me seriously, must not have looked rich enough, oh well their loss. First thing I always look for is signs of repair and I couldn't see any so thats definately a good thing. Before you buy I highly recommend having a look at this one, I took this one for a drive and it is mint, if you like black. If it was a v-spec it would have been mine. Very clean car! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=24847 Its so much fun shopping for a GTR!
  3. That sux, was hoping the QLD one would be on a different date, will be in Coffs harbour that weekend, good luck with the cruise anyway, raise plenty of $$$! Nice cruise route by the way.
  4. Yeah, I also got mine from Gary at the skidpan day for a big $10, he had a heap of them. I like the side ones, haven't put the back one one yet. I am not a big sticker boy either but the side ones are good.
  5. If there is a Brisbane one I will be in it, I am sure there would be a number of the other people that would come along too from the QLD chapter. Always in for a good cause.
  6. I put some of my pics up again, looks a little more secure this time round with the new software.

Interior looks pretty clean. I will have to get rid of the gear knob though, not really my style.

The long wait begins. The car gets loaded onto the ship bound for oz on the 16/01/04.
  9. That is the beauty with dealing with the public, having to deal with clowns like that. Nobody needs business like that, customers like this are more trouble then they are worth. They always want everything for nothing. If you need service like you are requesting gtargh then go to a store and pay the 100% markup on your performance parts. What a joke. You either buy on line for less but takes more time, or you go to a store get part straight away and pay more. Easy!
  10. I went through direct imported. I found Phil very good to deal with, my GTR gets loaded onto a ship in 3 days, can't wait. As soon as this process is finished I will be getting Phil to find me a nice 4dr 33, for a more practical car, but still a line.
  11. Nice work!
  12. Free Bump! Nice car here guys, experienced first hand, would have bought it myself had I not had my heart set on a white v-spec, Good luck with sale. Definately a good price, not a mark on the body anywhere!
  13. If these had come up a few days ago they would be in my garage now, not that BBS ones I got are bad but they are VERY nice. You are local too! That makes it even worse. Whoever gets these is very lucky indeed.
  14. Yeah, I live about 10min walk from the RE so I do frequent Corro Drv quite abit. During work hours you are more likely to see me cruising in the big yellow Gemini Van. I have past a few SAU members in the Gem and they never seem to recognise me, I wonder why?? Patience is wearing very thin. I want it now!!!
  15. Yeah, I have already got import approval, not bringing anything else in with the car (that I am aware of). Everything is currently getting stockpiled in my room. Looks very cool! Looking forward to another 4 week extension!!!! Do you have any good/positive news?
  16. Looks very nice, what's the finish like inside?
  17. Cheers mate, I had almost forgotten I was getting a new car, it seems to be taking sooo long. It gets loaded onto the ship in 4 days so it getting closer. I know what you mean about compliance it so tuff now on being completely standard. Luckily mine only has a cat-back exhaust and different steering wheel and gear knob, all pretty easy to change. All the compliance workshops in Brisbane and Gold Coast quoted between $6000 and $7500 to comply the GTR (plus tyres). The only thing I really don't want to do is the standard tyres on the standard rims. I just picked up a set of 18"x9.5" BBS rims and I want to use them for road and keep the standard rims for track work, so I don't want to put new road tyres on them, know any way around this? I don't want to buy the R-spec tyres just yet either as I am starting to creep over budjet as it is. Can I use someone elses tyres or do they have to be new? Haven't asked the compliancers this yet.
