  1. I would be in for that. Should be my first cruise in the R.

    CTP fees

You get to choose your CTP insurance company but the price is fixed between all companies, its regulated by the QLD government. Sometimes companies give you discounts on your other insurance if you choose them for your CTP. I think (like MJ said) 12 months rego was about $620ish last time.
  3. Nah, not selling the GTST until the GTR turns up. There are too many bits I want to take off it. The GTR doesn't turn up for another month yet.
  4. Yep, definately a nice ride. I assume their is only one getting around Brisbane and that was you on Coro Drv today. Looks just as good in person. As soon as I saw the GTS25 sticker, I have gone "I know that car". Again nice car.
  5. I agree. Labour far too expensive. Most of the gear you are getting is easy to install yourself.
  6. I got mine a bit over 2yrs ago with 62 000k and just tonight clocked over 110 000k, the only problem I have had is the crank case seal went about 6 months ago otherwise perfect. That includes skidpan and track days, many runs down the 1/4 at willowbank and trips to Sydney from Brisbane. Been a great car so far. Edit: Oh yeah forgot, had to do the caster bushes when I first got the car.
  7. The rear GTR shocks won't fit a GTST, the mounting is different between the two at the bottom of the shock. I think the fronts fit though. Emailed for pic of GTR steering wheel.
  8. I got my c-wrenches from fulcrum for $20-25 and they fit my Apexi Tmax coilovers no problem, I think most are the same. I have had no experience with accurate, where abouts are they? Ohlins, nice.
  9. I did mine a couple of days ago with degreaser and it came up pretty good, missed and farted for a while though.
  10. :bahaha: Nice, words to live by.
  11. I have these tyres aswell (Yoko A539 235/45 R17) and have also found them to be a very good street tyre. Good all round performance wet or dry, give great confidence in all conditions. Have also use them at willowbank and had reasonable 60ft time of about 2.1 to 2.2 and they didn't perform to bad at Q.R either, although it did wear them down at record speed! Had Federals before this (they came with the car) and in the dry they were not too bad, but in the wet they were terrible.
  12. Nice work guys, this info will be handy for when mine turns up at the end of January.
  13. Thanks Chris! Merry Xmas everyone, have a safe one!
  14. The Qld members section in looking great guys! Has anyone got more pics of cruises/track days to put up. There should be more pics of the skid-pan day for example, plenty of people were taking pics there.
  15. I agree with benm, If you add a decent set of rotors (eg. DBA 4000s), good fluid, good pad (pick one, everyone got a different opinion on what are good pads) and some braided lines and you will have more than enough stopping power for less money than upgrading to brembos then getting good pads, fluid, lines. Unless you take you track work very seriously the above upgrades will do fine.
  16. I am sure if its possible to reco the coil-overs it wouldn't be a problem, have never asked them to do that, a spring is a spring so springs shouldn't be a problem either, you tell them the spring rates you want and I am sure they could organise something, I highly doubt they would get Jap brands though. They do heaps of custom suspension work with clubmans, hot rods and building full race chassis, I am sure any problem with a road car could be solved.
  17. Wow, you would have too much left in the brakes department to replace would you??? Not sure on the adjustment, as far as I am aware it is all self-adjusting. Think twice before going the bendix ultimates, as I have basically the same setup as you but with the ultimates and the are seriously dusty. I have no problem with their performace, even at the track, but the dust is amazing. Hope its all fixed!
  18. Cruised behind 6irly for a while on the ipswich motorway this afternoon on my way to fulcrum at moorooka to pickup up some c-spanners. Also another wine red 33 with a big front mount.
  19. Whats normal? I have taken the mini and the gemini to Leda many times. Great guys. He had a nice 180B in the mix this morning too!
  20. Happy Bday oh fearless leader.
  21. Does anyone here own a silver R33 series 2 GTST that parks in a set of units on the cnr of Indooroopilly Rd and Westerham St?
  22. Good work James, I don't think my GTST will ever get a chance to reach the 13s, will have to settle for the 14.18.
  23. Leda is in Strathpine/Brendale, probably a bit of a drive for you. I went there this morning to get a new threaded spring seat machined for my coilovers. They are very good. I always like walking into a workshop with rollcages and race prepared shells lying around. I usually deal with Ron, the other guy in there is Bruce.
  24. Agreed, I got my shocks and whiteline gear through them, but when I asked how much to install, I nearly fell over. So I went home and did it myself in two hours and got a wheel alignment afterwards. They are good just their labour is hell expensive.
  25. Thats a killer mate, I thought my wait till the 28th of January for my GTR was bad, its only less than 2 months!
