  1. Have to say the white got me. Gives the rear lights great contrast!
  2. Here is a close up!
  3. Can someone tell me what type of BOV this is. It was on the car when I got it and no one I know can tell me what type it is. I think it kinda looks dodgey, but I would still like to know if it is any good or whether I should just get rid of it for something else.
  4. If I ain't to slow I will have it!
  5. My 33 has all 4 on aswell
  6. I have had my 33 for for 18 month now and have done 30000k in that time including two Bris-Syd runs. Have yet to have any mechanical failure. All the money I have spent is on good stuff so I am happy. For parts, I think with any car its the same, once you find a good supplier you won't have a problem. I have never had a problem finding the parts that I have needed, just look around to find that supplier, as prices can vary dramatically. But again that is pretty much the same with any car.
  7. Look good mate. How much were the rotors if you don't mind me asking. Love the look of slotted/cross-drilled rotors with a detailed caliper. Nice work!
  8. I should be there, allowing for work emergencies
  9. How do you guys get to race WRXs?! You all must have handed out too much punishment as everytime I get near one they just slow down!
  10. Sweet, I have just put Bilsteins on the back of mine as the originals were flogged. Will be doing the front soon, might give the whiteline springs ago. Unless you buy coil overs its hard to find a matched pair spring/shock combination. Thanks for your input JimX. The guys at Whiteline were telling me that the biggest single improvement will come from the adj. swaybars. MMMM need more $$$$.
  11. The only bush replacement product that I know of is the Whiteline Front Camber Kit (part no. KCA348). Apparently allows +/-1.0 deg change. About $160 I do believe. I have also heard that they squeak when they wear. But that is the price you pay for more direct steering!
  12. Have to agree with rs73. I have a 72 GT clubman mini which I have had people offer me over $10 000 for and they sold new for about $2500. Some cars do go up but it only happens to a few. The release of the new mini have help the rush on the old ones. Can't see that happening with my R33 though. There is just too many of them getting around now. Maybe 30 yrs later, not sure how all that plastic and electronic gear will fair in 30 yrs though!
  13. JimX Thanks for the info! A question, What do you think on the Whiteline Spring/Bilstein shock combination. I notice Whiteline has been using that combination on there R33 test car. Just thinking about going for a few whiteline bits and pieces and want to know what its like!
  14. Your Avatar pic looks like that car is parked outside UAS??? If so, go there. They advertise on their web page that they can supply a Veilside front bar for an R33 GTST for $695 Is this the one you are chasing? http://202.139.242.57/Images%201/Nissan%20...33gtrfront2.jpg I thought they were only available for GTRs but they are advertising them for GTSTs aswell. Don't know how much for your existing front bar. It is always hard to sell standard stuff, unless someone has just had a prang. Maybe $300ish????
  15. Fraid so MrR33. The tops of the struts are just under the parcel shelf. Thats why rear strut braces on 33 look different. There is know other way to get to the tops.
  16. You definately need to take out the rear seat and parcel shelf. When I did mine a little while ago thats as far as I got, chickened out and got my mechanic to do it. At least he couldn't charge me for labour on taking the seat/shelf in and out! Let me know how it goes cause I hate paying people to do those sorts of things also. I was concerned with the springs. I don't have coil overs and was concerned with whether the springs are under load in the standard spring/shock setup. I was worried that if they were I wouldn't be able to re-compress the spring to put it back together. Want to do the fronts soon so any info would be great. Would rather spent labour costs on getting better shocks!
  17. I have seen that kit on the perfectrun site and have considered it. Bit dear for a little plugin adapter! Let us know if the standard wiring is up to the extra load or if a relay is required.
  18. I have got the same problem. Mine has also started to squeak. Very annoying! Don't really won't to drop the gearbox as my clutch is fine also. Any help on this topic would be great!
  19. I would be interested in that. I have always used Bob Jane for tyres and stuff. Never had a problem with Taringa, Chermside or the Beenleigh branches. Always found they were always pretty competitive on prices too. I am up for new tyres soon so I will be keen!
  20. I am with Suncorp and pay a little over $1200. I'm 25 and a rating 1 though.
  21. Isn't air mostly nitrogen anyway??? I am no scientist but I am sure air is something like 60-70% nitrogen, 20-25% oxygen, plus other crap.
  22. Here is a pic of mine
  23. There is two studs on the bask side of the suspension towers. It should slide straight on. GTRs and Type M's come with these standard don't they??? I picked up a Cusco OS type one second hand a little while ago. It does stiffen the body a bit. I noticed that when getting a bit of drift it seemed to be a little easier to hold, I think cos of the extra chassis stiffness?? And now when taking the angle over kerbs into driveways it will pickup the inside rear wheel. Besides it looks tuff when you open the boot!
  24. I agree. Like Int21h I got the harness, makes that part of the install easy and the finished products looks neat and tidy.
  25. My car is a sticker free zone! Until someone pays me to use their products or at least gives me a discount of the purchase price, my car will not be used as an advertising billboard! But that just me
