Put me down for both, I can transfer you the cash anytime. . . . .
It just happens to be my birthday that day, can't think of a better present to myself
I just want to know if the Speedo itself is different, not interested in the whole cluster. Are they calibrated differently or something like that, visually they are the same.
The person selling it is positive that it will only work in an auto
Just a quick question, are the speedos from an Auto 33 the same as a manual 33??
Reason I am asking, I have found an aftermarket 300km/h speedo but the seller has stated that is for an auto R33 GTST and it will not work in a manual R33 GTST.
Can someone confirm this for me? I thought they would have been interchangable. . . . .
Cheers
Micheal is at the back of the grid now. That is a bit of a nast accusation to be found guilty of, I am sure that won't be going down well in the paddock. Not often you see 2 ferrari's at the back. Will be interesting to see what Mark can do from P2.
Fisichella has also been given a penality which will probably see him drop about 5 places.
Best move you could make. . . . away from Sydney
I have always used Chapman and Chapman, has built many successful Targa cars including GTRs, looked after my old GTR and most of my mates as well. There are lots of other competent places around too though.
Welcome to Bris!
Hey Paul, would it be possible when you have a spare minute to update the times. . . . keen to see how it all stands now, should have shaken it up a little with so many people out there.
Having owned a 33 GTST and GTR at the same time I can tell you for 33s they are exactly the same. When I upgraded the GTR radiator I was hoping to slot the GTR radiator into the GTST as a cheap upgrade. . . . only to be disappointed.
I am going to have to pull myself from this event, I hate doing this so late but there seems to be plenty of people attending and I have work commitments I can't get out of since I had Tuesday off for the track day.
Have fun, take plenty of pics!
A page for the rarest of them all, manual series 2 R33 sedan . . .
I think a vote like last time might be a good idea, we voted last time didn't we???? I dunno, I can't remember really, just talking shite like usual. . . . .
Yep, thanks to Paul for another great day.
It took me a little while to re-accustom myself with RWD after driving the GTR for the last couple of years but didn't do too bad. I think I managed a 1:06ish for the clubman and a 1:02ish for the sprint. . . . about 1 sec off what I was hoping for but not bad for a GTST sedan with a cat-back. . .

I usually just take the jack, socket set, screwdrivers, a couple of shifters, some spare coolant, oil, and most importantly, hand soap and and a rag Haven't been caught short yet but there is always a first time. . .
It has been ages James, good to get out there and have a little fun again!
Hey, do you still have my old GTST? If so I was driving beside you along Gympie Rd the other night past Chermside in the black 33 4dr. I turned off on Murphy Rd, it still looks good!
I have started packing the car, getting a little excited
You can have a look at mine Tuesday at the track day if you want as I am running what you are thinking of getting -
DBA 4000 slotted rotors up front
Brake master cylinder stopper
Motul RF 600 fluid
But I am running the Hawke pads front and rear, I had them on my GTR and rate them very highly.
My next thing will definately be braided brake lines as the pedal feel isn't that flash atm. . . .
Sweet, can't wait. I bedded in my new pads last night, (love the smell of smoking pads ) and am ready to go. . . . See if I can't get close to the times I was doing in the GTR. . . .
