Hi there guys, Anyone has taken one of this rear control arms, I have 2 points out but the one that connects to the hub is not coming out . I have tried everything, but its not coming out, am I doing something wrong? Is there anything else I need to remove, any other bolt im missing? If anyone is bored today and can give a fellow member a hand for a few beers that would be really appreciated. I am in crafers BTW Cheers.

10-15kw is not too bad, I suppose I was expecting less than that, but I decided that I am going to wait until DrDrift next visit next month, to do everything at the same time, and yes I will definatelly be buying a fuel pump asap, Funny thing is that even at 1.1bar made 170kw and the AFR were fine, so at only 12 psi i should be fine. Thanks guys, some say do it some say wait uhmmm. Hey limpus how many kw did you gain with just the remap and the mods you had? oh btw the 1.1 bar was a one off for the dyno, however I am very tempted to run that on a daily basis.

Well Dr Drift is coming to adelaide tomorrow he said I can remap it tomorrow and then when he comes back in a months time he would remap it again to suit the extra mods, and all I have to pay would be the Dyno time. Well, if you think about it is quite stock, nothing major done to it just the usual mods Cheers

These are the specs: R32 RB20DET 82000Kms Stock Internals Stock Turbo 3"Turbo back exhaust/Screamer POD EBC runing 12 psi FMIC It did 170rwkw @ 1.1 bar at Boostworx Is it woth getting a remap? what would the benefits be on my setup?. I am planning to get a turbo in the near future along with injectors and a fuel pump, but untill then... Any comment would be appreciated Cheers

Ok, went to get a diagnosis of my Hicas and this is what I got. Apparently nothing wrong with it but can anyone spot some clues on these information here. (apart from the steering angle, the wheels were turned to the left during the test.) But if you can give me a hand that would be good, I dont know what to look for and the guy that did it didnt know either. Cheers.

Called steve at Mantaracing and he didnt wanna hear about it, he told me to go to Nissan to get a diagnosis and then I could talk to him. Called Unley Nissan and they didnt want to hear about it because is an import. , so after getting the same response from most dealerships, North East Nissan agreed to see my car. taking it next week.

No mate you'll be allright, I have the same problem and most of the people I know it is a bit annoying but you get use to it i suppose. It can go for years apparently until it finally dies on you, and if you are smart you would have saved some money and get an RB25 second hand gearbox put in. apparently they are tougher than RB20's. need some help to find information about a part. Think is a solenoid for the HICAS system. Its located under the car, between the back wheels, slightly to the drivers side, and close to the swaybar, pretty easy to spot if you follow the lines that run to the front of the car I imagine to the steering or something. Anyway, there is a plug there, a two pin plug, that im interested in. . im unable to take a picture of it, but if someone knows what I am talking about and knows what this part does, please let me know. i think it is the culprit to all my handling problems. well...... the plug he disconected made all the difference....... made it worse. anyway, got under the car and pluged it back in, started the car again and it was perfect, it fixed the problem not for long thou. While cornering hard, it went back to the way it was, checked under the car and the connection seems to be ok. Any ideas what else should i be looking at?

well i took it to AVS suspension, just off South Road, very nice bloke, I THINK he just fixed it, but I have some testing to do tonight , he did a wheel alignment and apparently I had -4.5 degrees toe in at the rear hehehe. he also disconected a plug that runs from the front to the hicas unit, hopefully that made all the diference. we'll see how it goes tonight.
