Thanks for all the replies guys, No i dont race or act stupid on public roads but 80 through the hills, tight roads and the car steering itself mid turn is not a good feeling I can tell you that. The light never comes on, it must have been taken out or something. the Hicas motor is not there is justa lock kit, but the computerr is, I tried unpluggin the hicas computer, but it doesnt help i just loose power steering when i do.

Need some help guys, Have an issue with my car, and i believe is Hicas related, anyone knows where i could take my car here in Adelaide for someone with good knowledge of the HICAS system. My mechanic looked at my car and couldnt find anything wrong with it; And you cant really tell when you drive slow anyway, which he did. Anyway if someone knows of a place specialized please let me know cause this problem is just depressing, and cant find a solution. FYI, basically the car wants to steer by itself, and it can be very dangerous when loosing traction through the hills, or even just at high speed on the highway... the car has a lock kit so technically the hicas SHOULD be disabled, right? Hi there have a pair of toyo T1-R in 225/50/16 almost new, bought them 1 month ago for $230 a tyre, done less than 200kms on them. Very sticky tyres for the front of your car, or the back whatever anyway they are going for $250 the pair, need the money asap. Im selling because i bought myself a set of 17" wheels, and have no use for these anymore. Cheers.

i took it to the mechanic and he didnt find anything wrong under the car, he would have check bushes and arms and the like. it kind of feel like the back of the car is lifting up and wanting to go on a different direction when turning. Nothing is knocking thou. what do you mean by the wheels sitting in the right spot? i took the hicas computer off, to see if it was a hicas related issue, and i lost ps but didnt fix the problem. Can the wheels steer themselves after removing the hicas? is that even possible? i might put a pic up to show the set up at the back but im pretty sure its been locked. Cheers

A few months back the speedo cable snapped, I lost all power steering and the speedo stoped working, and the car felt pretty weird on turns,all over the place, very unpredictable, so I got it replaced and it was all fine again untill the other day. While drifting, I felt something snap mid turn, the car started feeling much like that time, the same weirdness, but the speedo is working perfectly and also is the power steering, Ive checked everything I can think of, nothing seems wrong. Took it to my mechanic, and he cant find anything wrong with it either Any ideas as to what can possibly be causing this, P.S. Hicas has been removed by the way, and I have a Nardi on, always have. Any help would be appeciated guys. Cheers

Ronin, the ride its pretty good, perfect if you have it as a daily driver, very comfortable. they are about year and a half old, done 15000ks or so. I am up in the hills, replied your pm, dont know if i would be able to make it this weekend. masTers, they go from -10mm to -40mm i think they can go pretty low but not stupidly low. in my car i have them one before last at the back and middle at the front, i dont know if you can tell by the avatar. I have no problem with sending them to WA you would probably have to pay an extra $50 for the shipping.(estimate) let me know. Cheers

I need some help here guys. My 2-Way used to be very quite untill I changed my diff oilt his weekend to Redline 75W140NS, not realizing (and after taking the advice of an autobarn salesman) this particualr one doesnt have the added friction modifiers required for LSD's. It chutters on every turn really bad now, and its pissing me off. Now I can change the oil to something else or buy some friction modifiers to put it in and it would help the problem, I want to go with the second, but noone seems to carry the Redline friction modifiers, the question is.. is there anything else out there that I can use? I started doing mine a while a go and never got around to finish it. I cut the standard front bumper grill, thinking it was going to fit nicely in the hole . dodgy ass. so I continued cutting pieces out to make it fit and to make it look nice, but still havent been able to finish. got sick of it after a while. It would definately be unique if you do it that way.
