Just letting you know that Dev wants to plan a big cruise to the Beach on next Sunday... this is open to all... we will meet at One O'clock Sunday Afternoon at the Post Office at Shopping Fair... That is the Shopping Fair Carpark closest to musgrave street... It will be open to all vehicles however imports are preferable as otherwise you might not keep up... he he... So would anyone be interested... maybe even some Gladstone people might be keen for a rocky- yeppoon cruise to meet some new friends??

Hey girls... Jishwa let me in... so I'm back home safe and sound...
-
Hey shauno are you going to head back down the drags to the test and tune? it would be good to see you get a few good runs in... Actually are you chasing a intercooler kit?? Squizz found a really good price for a full kit... I think I had better grab one... if your interested we can order in bulk... cut shipping down...

Hybrid Intercoolers - Voice your opinion!!
digsy_20 replied to Zensoku's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Hybrid also make complete kits for everything from S13 Silvia's to WRX and every skyline inbetween... worth a look anyway... They have three inch polished piping and silcon hoses... and stainless clamps... what more does a man need... I like the fact that you don't have to spend big bucks on making piping... I originally made all the piping for my stock silvia intercooler... ( i turboed my non-turbo therefore had no pipework) and I made it all from stainless piping and Norosco hosing... It wasn't a huge job but in the end it still cost me a couple of hundred dollars... for a good front mount it would be worth buying the kit to save yourself the trouble... I'm buying mine through Squizz... he seems to be getting good prices at the moment... contact him for the whole range of kits at decent prices... -
Oh and garth I reckon that little Laser is MAD... it fully makes you want to go out mud slinging... maybe I might have to get a lift kit for my Silvia and some spotties and hit the rally scene... naaa... can't see it happening...
-
No Fro made it out alive except for having blinkers that are black... instead of orange... apparently the police don't like that too much... And yeah... I hear Daikin make a good product...
-
sweet ride... anyway guys I'm off to check out High Octane 4... ask and you shall recieve!!
-
actually I am bulk impressed with the Scibyline... It goes hard... He called me from the lap and within a couple of minutes he was at the top of the Mount... and he lead the way down... if it wasn't for that damn S12... but he did keep us all on the safe side... I actually like going up rather than down... it feels more controlled... anyway... that is me for the day... time for some Bersy Lunch... have fun guys... and stay safe...

Hey matt are any of your team headed down the drags to the test and tune... has anyone talked Rick into it yet?? Dev seems pretty keen so that should be good to see... I don't know about wiether to race or not... maybe if Jay races... or pete... that sounds like alot of work getting pete's car going again though... although mad mountain runs are go... Jay is going to show us why four doors are more balanced than two... hell I seen the sideways action last night... don't tell me you weren't flying cause I was going and I saw your headlights the whole way up... actually I think I touched over 140 at one point... not that we encourage that sort of behaviour....
-
I don't think it really matters where it comes from... it's the price that matters ... well it is when I buy something... cheap and durable... don't care weither it's made by indian pigmi's if it does the job...
-
Willo have a look at www.aablatch.com.au/daikin.shtml they might have something you can use... that clutch on the top of their page looks like it could take just a little bit of abuse... Maybe see if you can find which one you like best and then call in squizz to do some cut-throat bargining... Hey shaun do Nicks do a twin plate or anything of the kind...
-
Willo was it your idea I go looking for an Australian Clutch... silly boy don't you know Australian businesses don't know what the Internet is... No just kidding... I have got my feelers out and might have some info for you soon...
-
Hmmm... that is bad... very very bad... I must have it!!
-
talking of that... who has High Octane 4... and why haven't we got it??
-
Actually you should check out www.sarukaauto.com.au/current.htm I have a friend that loves starlets... she wanted a turbo rig so can anyone find any cheap ones for sale... neat stockers probably would be the best.... and preferably red... she loves red... So tell me what sort of prices she should look for??
-
Hey talking of the end of August is anyone racing at Benaraby in the mid august... what is the exact dates again?? I would be keen but I haven't done a single thing to the Silvia so I might just save my money until my cooler kit gets here... Actually Jay I was thinking that after the cooler kit I should get one of those nice polished exhaust manifolds you were talking about... Polished piping... I could be pimping too....
-
true that... pete with his "little" wheels might have to buy them... actually maybe Willo should buy them for when he comes down to the Club Sprints with us at the end of August...
-
Jay have you seen the stuff on Unique Autosports at the moment... there are a set of Yokohama Wets for $290 in 17"... they look sweet... few race seats and stuff... oh... and one for me a Veilside 2pc front bar for a S13 silvia.... I'm getting my credit card out already... just kidding...
-
Alright Willo I will try to get onto it... I know the Jap product is quality... I am not arguing that fact (just covering my tail so no one thinks I am riding my high horse ) anyway I will see what I can do for you... you definatly want a twin plate and something resonably bity but still livable??
-
Hey Jay I was just searching through my User Cp and found PM's... it's interesting stuff that comes through there... I never new that voicing ones opinion was such a crime... and I can't believe that "other people" haven't worked out that there hasn't been one "fight" in the Spank camp since... anyway... If you need me to explain I'll chat to you later... don't want to get anymore angry PM's...

Actually do you know that there is a Mob down in Brissy... can't remember who but I saw it on the Net... and they are doing an Upgrade kit for the Turbo Falcon... it is a new Intercooler and piping and tweaked computer and a boost up... read and weap... 397 RWHP.... now that is neat out of a almost stock car... mind you I bet the GT40 Turbo helps it along.... when is someone going to be rich enough to buy one of them... it won't be long until Ford is destroying Holden on the streets.... and 397 at the wheels... doesn't matter that the Falcon weighs 1600 Kg... it'll still be super quick on the street... One to watch out for...

Ok... I was just being my typical Aussie and sticking it up the competition for some Local Product Placement... sorry bro... just the Aussie coming out in my.... I'm off to test drive a new XR6 Turbo...... and then I woke up!!
-
Hey it was heavy last night on the Lap scene... far out there were some cops around... and I won't ever joke about FRO getting pulled up again... Two GTR's, a 33 GTS-T, a A31 Cefiro, Silvia... and Fro got pulled up... granted his is puffing smoke like a chimny... but I was just joking when he said he'd take the fall not us.... seriously... I didn't know!!... Anyways... it was still a pretty good night... we had a cruise up Mount Archer... Actually... and you can repeat this if you all want... for being such a wild driver... pete is a GIRL in the passengers seat... he doesn't like it much... just ask Jay...
-
Hey Willo don't pass the Australian product off too quickly... there are some really good companies producing really good products without the ridiculous OSGiken Pricetag... if you are chasing brands go for it... but just remember some of our local product outways the competition in more ways than one... including price and customer service... would shaun have gotten a replacement clutch from OS... maybe but the Aussie guys are battling for product placement... and my Clutch has been perfect from day one... one fault doesn't mean that your supplier should get shot down in flames... he did replace it for free?? What about going for a well known performance twin plate brand like Centerforce... or something like that... probably cheaper prices... and better service... And many many many BIG horsepower manuals have been running Centerforce Clutchs for years... they most be doing something right!!
-
Anyway... I am going to perve on Jay's car... again... I'm off guys I'll talk to you on the lap tonight... have fun... and stay away from the Po lice... either that or hang with FRO cause you know they are going to pull him over first... see ya
