  1. on the boost/duty screen i have set 1.00kg and solinoid suty 65%. when i take it for a run on full throttle the solinoid duty hits 90% max and flutuates in between sportatically. its not in self learn mode so it shouldnt be doing that ( i dont think) . its only just happened recently. i have done many runs on this setting and it was fine , the solinoid duty was set on 65% and stayed on 65%. boost pressure is fine .98 max and stable. if some one can shed some light on the charateristics of the avcr would be much appreciated.
  2. perhaps initialise the unit then start again. how were you setting up the boost on the avcr?
  3. im also running the avcr on my gtr, my problem is boost drop. its set on 1.1 bar max then drops to 1 then then creeps back up to 1.1. i've tried increasing the solenoid duty at the drop points which helps a little bit but cant seem to get it dead straight. im curious as to how the f/b speed setting may help this problem?

  8. im changing the water pump on my VL commodore, i bought the pump which came with a gasket. my question is do i need to use any sealers or is the gasket enough to keep water leaking out?
  9. im in vic i've got every mod hidden out of sight as much as possible to look standard (i'm sure they'll find it if they wanted to). but unfortunately more power comes at a cost. just interested if majority of road checks resulted in cops giving drivers a hard time about mods.
  10. was thinking about single turbo conversion on my gtr but my only concern is cops and canaries. any1 had any issues with authorities? is it worth the effort for a street car?

  12. boost controller would be nice to run 12psi safely but i would defenately go the power fc first (much better gains). launch on gtr is dam fast

  14. is the car registered? if so its all been taken care of (compliance). if not you hav to source sum1 to do it. do a vin chassis check with your rta
  15. quite possible, not sure why it looks different to a regular relay?
  16. relays click once completing a circuit, more along the lines of continual tick from suspect relays indicating fault in circuit. i had this problem when abs awd light came on. ecu was giving numerous error codes like front left speed sensor then right speed sensor abs actuator circuit abs actuator motor. many hours spent finally located problem in 4wd pump. only suggesting an idea. good luck

  18. yeah it stays on for about 3-4 secs because my avcr screen stays on aswell.

  20. more fuel = waste of petrol . wat about damage ? i hav driven around the block but nothing different. besides a little bit more black smoke than usual. idles ok .
