hey guys i have a rb25det powered 180sx but the engine has dramaz, so i was gonna get e rb20det jus to chuck in to get it running... jus wondering if the loom is the same, can i put the motor in, plug up the loom, put in the rb20 ecu n drive away, or is there differences if so what are the differences??? plz help asap as i need it runnin in 2 weeks thanks in advanced cheers ryan 0410332673

hey i jus picked up a r33 gts25 off the forums , possible looking to turbo it... i also have a s15 fronted 180sx, and its running a rb25det... so i was gonna rip the turbo setup off it, t70, 38mm ext gate, hi rise manifold... take the standard injectors out of th det and the ecu out of it.. does this sound like it would run ok if i put it on??

well then.... there is already a 180 with this set up on it... fairly decent fit.. as for the suggestion of the vh45, that is an even bugger motor,, i have seen it done on a s13 and it sticks out the bonnet... and yes i khnow theres more that 2 turbo's to a 9 second car and i know all the headaches cause ive done conversions before

hey guys... i still cant start my 180sx... it has a rb25det in it... originally we thought it was a compression problem, but it was jus a faulty guage.. it has spark, fuel and air, but not starting... any ideas of what i could look at??? i need help wid it asap!!! cheers, thanks guys ryan 0410 332 673

hey guys im having a few dramas with my 180, with the wiring, so im thinking about ripping out the motor and putting in a 4.0l lexus quad cam v8 and run a twin turbo set up on it i was going to rip out my rb25det and do a custom install on the v8, get a bellhousing adapptor and run a supra 5 speed adn then run a twin t70 setup and run 2 38mm wastegates, do fuel setup, fmic and exhaust what do u guys think, im looking for the 8 as i think it will have more torque and have the potential to make more power

yeah my only concern was really the vct oil thing... the conversion was 6000 done by ricol automotive

hey... tym to sell my 180 1992 model, white with black bonnet and roof motor is a rb25det, out of 1994 model, cut had 70*** kms on clock manual 5 speed box new exedy heavy duty clutch motor has t70 tubo 38mm external gate high mount manifold fmic 3 inch exhaust screamer pipe walbro fuel pump new head gasket motor put in by ricol automotive s15 front end standard bar fibreglass guards vented fibreglass bonnet lowered 2 inches tanabe shocks 18 inch ame wheels with fairly new tyres 11 months rego problem with vehicle, wont currently start, jus keeps turnin but not kickin i havent got the tym to fix it so im sellin it as it is open to reasonable offers thanks ryan 0410 332 673

as u may hav read on my previous post i think my comp is down on my rb25det.... so what im tryin to find out is if i get a RB25DE head and RB30E bottom end can it be put together with the manifolds n everything off my RB25DET and connect all d wiring and run the normal computer???? i'd prefer this cause i jus paid decent $$$ to get the rb25det put in my s15/180 and now its stuffed, i dont really wanna get it all wired up n stuff again! thanks for the help guys cheers
