http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/RB...rb20&st=260 dunno if this helps but if you read it all from memory there is discussion about rb26 cams into rb25 about half way through. i was considering rb26 cams for my rb20 however it seem alot of people have huge trouble getting there rb20s running right after instalation of the 26 cams.

r34 neo turbo also ceramic wheel?

so with all this in mind, if i was to send my rb25 op6 housings to be machined to fit the 466541-4 would it be a worthwhile upgrade for my rb20 or would i be better off keeping with just the standard rb25 turbo. my main concern is that ive been told that the rb25 turbo still has the ceramic turbine wheel. sorry for all the questions.

Hey all, just after some advice with a turbo centre ive aquired. im changing my turbo on my rb20 in my r32 from the kkr style turbo thats in it now to something more responsive. I have already purchased an r34 gtt turbo with the op6 housing that i will be using in the mean time, however i have a garrett centre part number, 466541-4. or more commonly know as a gt2560r/gt28r. anyone know what housing i need for this centre? is it possible to use the housings on the r34 turbo? maybe another housing? any help will be much appriciated as im new to playing with turbos. cheers, sam

FCC NT First generation to suit Nissan FCC FN Second generation to suit Nissan FCC AD First generation to suit Nissan Djetro what generation would my r32 have? ill find out the serial number on the fc and post it up asap if that would help.

yea after doing more research i found its just a piggy back system, which brings me back to my problem with finding a suitable power fc commander. i still believe that its the best option for me, i dont have a very good understanding of the compatablity between power fc's and its becoming verry frustrating trying to get straight answers and im always hearing conflicting opinions.

Hey, i recently purchased an r32 gtst, the car has a power fc to suit its rb20det... as i live in the northern territory i am having an extremly hard time finding a commander unit (hand controller) for the power fc. After spending a whole afternoon on the phone calling japanese wreckers and searching import monster, ebay and through classifieds on the internet i have still had no luck. it seems as though everyone has a different opinion on the fc commander, some say any unit will work and others say that you need specific ones to match the fc. What serial numbers does the commander need to match with my fc? are there other commanders that are compatible? (maybe ca18det/rb25det and rb20det can use the same commander??) Ive also been told the apexi "Super AFC Neo" is the replacement for the power fc.. is this tru? would i be better off using this rather than my power fc? Please if you have any information that would help pm me or post in this thread as i am stuck, thanks heaps, sam

what do you guys out there set your alignments at? camber? caster? toe? does any one have a copy of factory wheel alignment specs or ones that have worked well for you?

bearing part numbers? im at a bit of a loss on where to purchase bearings for this box... if anyone has done a rebuild before where did you find them?

hey fellas im going to freshen up the box in my r33 gtst and im just wondering whats out there in the way of bearings/syncros for this box, what yous have used, and if at all possible, prices. cheers guys, sam

my sender unit was below the oil filter and to the left a bit. theres a rubber boot covering the plug from it and it just unscrewes out of the block (i managed to get a spanner onto it when i was undoing it, fairly sure it was a 17mm). does anyone know if you can purchase aftermarket sender units? from what ive heard from people who replaced them with the standard one again. find that they play up again anyway.

yup. after talking to a mate who used to have an r32 gtr i found out that his sender unit for the gauge had failed on him before. not sure if its a similar unit to mine however.

sorry for taking so long to reply, have been out of internet access. went and bought a mechanical gauge just to use to try and help work out where the problem was. according to the gauge i have perfect oil pressure and increases perfectly with revs. and on that note im currently in the process of purchasing a good quality aftermarket gauge. thanks heaps for your help.
