  1. awesome, im going to order them right now. as you can see my car needs it - ass is sticking right up in the air. EDIT: The other thing i was going to ask is how loose are the low king springs in the shocks? are they still a tight fit?
  2. hows the ride with the king springs, better/worse than the stock springs? As king springs would be a much cheaper option to lowering the car than forking out a couple of grand for a japanese brand.
  3. ok, wasn't sure if this mod was damaging the turbo or not, as i dont exactly want to blow the thing yet Before the mod the gauge would go just below the halfway mark and after, just above it; that would be around the 7-8psi mark? Its the pressure that shatters the turbine wheel right not the heat?
  4. r34 stock boost gauges go from 0 to -700 and up to +1 on the gauge, anyway i guess its a safe mod to do that wont damage the turbo. Whats +1kg/cm in psi?
  5. so stock boost is about 5psi this mod increases it to around 7, isn't 1+ about 14psi?
  6. whats the boost after doing this mod? i noticed that it seems to go pretty close to 1+ on the boot gauge.
  7. i simply turned the washer bottle 90degrees so it faced forward, then make a bracket to support it. works like a charm only problem is that you have to cut a small bit of plastic out the wheel arch as the the washer hoses need alittle more space in that direction. if you look closely at the front wheel in my sig you will see a piece of the tank poking through.
  8. i just cut the plastic cover in half making it a whole lot easier then decided to keep it off an the neo cover hides all the crap anyway
  9. buy the DIY fiberglass repair kit from autobarn, however it will most likely need a spray afterwards so see if they (any panelbeaters) could repair it at the same time.
  10. Damn it  i might just sell it and buy a decent one then, thanks for the reply.
  11. Picked up a new Garrett T3 T04 turbo awhile ago on ebay for a reasonable price and was wondering if its worth while bolting it on to replace the stock factory one. It has steel compressor and turbine wheels, not sure if its ball bearing, anyway to tell without opening it up? The info also said it was capable of 450hp, anyway you can tell the actual specs just by looking at it?
  12. thanks for the replies; im awaiting an email for a price on the Greddy Power Extreme II system for a 4dr skyline as i think the website listed the 2dr price which was $799; about the same as the custom which would be alot easier since i wouldn't lose the car for a day. Hmmm, siliences are an ok idea but a cop traveling behind and seeing it will most likely pull me over and canary it, the idea behind the custom exhaust system was to make it look as stock as possible - even with simular dual tips; i'll have to wait till monday for price estimate on the brand name system if it too much i think i'll go with the custom system.
  13. bump come on, is someone going to atleast tell me to do a search? or tell me that google is my friend or something?
  14. will a custom 3" catback exhaust (including a 3" hi-flow cat, everything else res/muffler are 3" straight through) be an ok option instead of forking out a grand and a half for a brand name one?(the custom job was estimated at $800) im hoping to un-restrict the exhaust system without the damn droning sound that you normally get with the brand name aftermarket systems. i was considering Greddy Power Extreme II system, anyone running one of these? sound good, not too loud?
  15. SW20-GT, so the flared out bit at the bottom would be a sperate part all together?
  16. yeah that front lip attachment might be too low for my car even at stock height since to get to work i need to cross a speed bump (which a mates factory lowered falcon can barly get over) and up a driveway which is basically a gutter. i most likely would have lost the lip the first day arriving at work looks awesome though! that one seems to made specifically for the whole gtr front bumper not sure if it would attach to the factory bumper.
  17. im out too, seemed too much for a small bodykit part. Im going for a new exhaust instead.
  18. come on SW20-GT your breaking my balls here...
  19. down in lowest part of victoria, Sale which in the gippsland area.
  20. hmmm, if satanic doesn't want the front lower lip then i'll take it (as long as it covers freight), side skirts can wait.
  21. yep ( thats my car by the way in the sig )
  22. very well sataic, pistols at dawn seriously nah, if you want it you can get it, i'll just wait for the next batch to arrive. B) side skirts sound good though, how much for those?
  23. how much is the 'special' price SW20-GT? does the lip need to be painted as i wouldn't mined if it came in black.
  24. the stock GT-T bumper would need the top gap filler part the i guess attaches to the stock bumper to cover the grap the GTR bonnet would create. However with that bumper you wouldn't need a GTR style bonnet since its made to fit with the stock GTT hood. satanic, from the pics it seems as though there is a GTR style lower lip made for the non-areo stock bumper, is this the one your talking about? we need to see about trying to group buy this piece since there seems to be a few people that want it only to be turned off by the price, ouch! <_<
