to also let you all know when i first bought the car two years ago I had to send Justcars lots of pictures of this car plus a complete detailed list of all my modifications so they could value it for me and base my premium on this amount. after they analysed the pics/mods/kms and condition of the car THEY valued the car at $20,000. 1 Month ago i had to pay my full comp insurance and again they held the value at $20,000. They're computer system usually adjusts the agreed value of the car downwards as the car gets older. but because i'v driven less than 10,000 kms in the last two years its held its $20,000 agreed value!!!!!!!!! so if im advertising it for $17,999.00 FULLY NEGOTIABLE, then this car is not only a weapon with individual looks and performance its also rediculous value for money. with an economy that we're in now and at a time when you need it most, you can buy performance and killer presence and receive value for money at the same time.

yes interestate buyer very possible. can send via buyers expense though. we can negotiate a deal with regards to freight i'm not sure how much this costs. and why do you think it wouldnt it be legal in Victoria? they're laws are very similar to NSW car laws i would think? this car is my daily driver here in sydney on the north shore. the exhaust has a second muffler (forgot to add this in the description), the pod filter is boxed under a heat shield, the BOV is a plumb back. the car flutters like crazy in plumb back/legal mode. but you can attach the little trumpet on the end and it becomes atmospheric with flutter at low revs and pssssshhhht on boost. ride height is legal too. it clears every single car park ride height, every single speed hump in sydney. i never have to take angles driving on any of sydney's streets which are world renowned for being shiithouse. its lowered at the perfect height using the Teins for the best mix of street performance and practicality. cheers Andrew

hey mate im located in Sydney. im roughly looking at mid-high teens. when you think of the quality of the parts used on this car. yes it is modified but i could price each part on this car and rrp mods alone would exceed 20k easy. and it is easily the most sort after R33 being one of the very last to walk off the nissan production line. R34s came into production during the second half of 1998.

thinking of selling her to move onto something that more suits my line of work. i will not let it go dirt cheap so im definetely not desperate to sell. and i will not swap it for anything. cash only. this is to test the waters. car is an extreme head turner could almost serve a potential buyer as a show car. it has some parts on it that i have never seen on any R33 GTS-T anywhere in the world. some of the mods on the car i'v never seen on any car period. looks like a GTR. since this pic the GT wing has been removed and a D wing/lip sits on the back. the girls in the pic arent included. S2 Rb25det Breaking Right Down Under Load
DrewII replied to FordyR31's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
hmmmm i have R33 gts-t series 2 not exactly the same problem but a very similar problem however i made an extra fix to your issue. when i was thrashing my car hard in 3rd gear bang had this wrx sound. loss of power etc etc. my AAC valve wasnt working (broken couldnt adjust idle, idle didnt change when air con on) so i got a second hand one from a spare parts shop and the idle is now fixed. also one of my coil packs went so i replaced that and i also replaced spark plugs. got number 7 plugs slightly colder than standard in case i wish to race my car in the near future. however after doing all this my car was still extremely unsettled. shaking, virbating bad idle etc. replaced the standard bov. found out the bov wasnt working at all. went to autobahn bought a cheap Drift brand bov. had it installed. straight away car ran smoother. now no more wrx, no more shaking clean idle. however now i have not as much power as before and car is out of tune. its much moree noticeable on high boost (12psi) than it is on low boost however leaking boost is noticeable everywhere. i had a toshi remap before and the car was running quick and afr's were perfect. after inspecting the new blow off valve further my mechanic found the new bov is faulty. leaking boost. we tried the bov in "atmospheric" mode and it was sucking in air. it can't be good for an engine to be sucking dirt and dust particles straight into the intake. my mechanic concluded diaphram problem and the spring isnt hard enough too which is most likely contributing to the afrs being out and the obvious boost leak. i rang Drift people down in melbourne they say the bov is good for well over 24 psi. well mine definetely is not. the entire issue could be fixed by me spending 400 on a turbosmart or gfb plumb back valve which are much better quality. so this weekend i will replace this Drift bov and get back to you with my results. fingers crossed. -
carsales link doesnt work. check it before you post.

hmmm i just finished diagnosing this problem. wasn't coil packs, spark plugs, dirty AAC valve my AAC valve was leaking. loss of power and wrx sound. replaced AAC valve with second hand one. problem fixed. this "misfire" issue is so broad in the time iv been on these forums so many random reasons for it. try the top three first.

Looking For A Quiet Exhaust? Review: Kakimoto Regu 06&r
DrewII replied to sewid's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
my car came with that same exhaust from Japan i ended up cutting off the rear muffler and replacing it with an apexi N! muffler but keeping the original kakimoto system reason being the kakimoto was too quiet for me and it wasnt looked after by the previous owner. -
GCG hi flow FTW i was speaking to the guys about this same question at Unique Autosports in Seven Hills who specialise in nissans and they said more often than not the GCG makes higher power than the GTRS and for a much much cheaper price. they get GCG to do a couple of different touches to the turbo though. ring them if you have any queries regarding this.

i have cleaned my AAC valve out it was very filthy. the DIY AAC Valve guide in the DIY section was extremely easy to do. the car is still sounding like a WRX so i can't tell completely what cleaning the valve has done. would have done more good than bad. however im getting a brand new GFB Plumback bov installed so i will let you guys know an update after the new valve has been put on. my problem is 90% bov 10% AAC valve so i should be sweet after the new bov is put on. fingers crossed.

i reckon wait a few more years for subaru to get their shape right. they got everything else sorted out. as we've said this 09 WRX out of the box will beat every standard evo up to evo IX and every sti up to the 08 sti in straight line speed and handling. and there is even room to modify them too. give them a couple more years to fix the looks and the wrx will be the car to buy.

Wtb: R33 Gts-t Series 2 Standard Bov

well i seem to have two problems AAV valve broken. turning idle set screw completely in and out changed nothing. and unplugging connectors doesnt change anything either so its either blown or faulty. i will clean it out tomorrow to see if it revs a little cleaner my bov is also leaking somehow. i blocked it off completely and the idle problem stopped. need to buy a new plumb back or second hand stock one. problem wasnt spark plugs or coil packs.
