  1. i was racing (yeh i know irresponsible) but thats what this thread is about. being irresponsible on the street against holdens i was playing one day with the latest holden monaro GTO (the 6 litre) had the 307kw sticker on the back. ill admit the thing did look nice and honestly this thing was so loud i could not hear my car at all !!!! and my car is pretty loud. obviously he had done his exhaust extractors god knows what else. and when we both gave it a genuine hit rolling at about 30k/hr there was nothing in it. we were dead neck to neck. and i knew from that screaming V8 he was giving it his all. and so was i. and this was before my Toshi remap. they are no way as quick as what people think. whoops forgot to add my car is R33 but hey another hit for the skylines

  5. its hot my uncle has a 350z. felt awesome to sit inside it and drive it around. only bad thing about the car is that its an absolute slug moving off the line. needed balls. all it needed was more power i think iv found a worthy upgrade from my R33
  6. i agree. if the V35 was quicker than my skyline and had extensive exterior modifications i would consider that a step up otherwise a GTR R34 would be a definite step up. i dont even think a R33 GTR would be a step up from my car anymore unless it had a fair bit of money spent on it.
  7. i bought a set of JJRs two weeks ago from justjap as the Splitfires were no longer an option for me. car was missing pretty badly at the top. had them installed. went and got a Toshi remap the next week. zero misses, awesome spark no problems to date. will keep you informed if anything does come up though
  8. fix your exhaust up. go turbo back with dump and high flow cat. the restrictions of the stock cat are ridiculous.
  9. its bodybuilding.com the site teaches you how to inject anabolics and take drugs. some of the members on there are on about ten different compounds 3 time a day injections. bound to be some loony that has a connection to a dealer to get his roids. and when a drug dealer deals anabolics theyre usually dealing heaps of other stuff too ie coke n pills.
  10. what time did you run at 103mph? being lighter car than mine i'd prob run similar time to yours with 200kw i wonder what my mph would be. might go give it a go these hols.

  12. injectors arent flowing properly then. one or two could be stuffed
  13. sounds like problem with one or two of your injectors. does it drive like a WRX? joking does it drive like a dog is there a noticeable loss of power ?
  14. have to be really patient in todays market. theres too much choice out there for buyers. car looks hot though with enough pull too. good luck with the sale.

  16. i have noticed a huge influx of threads with people having this same issue. and they've all started around this time too. cant be a coincidence. something either the weather or something is fouling the engine.
  17. i agree with you. its easily not the fastest on the road but damn i feel it is definitely quick enough now. and quick enough to put a lot of cars to shame too. before i dunno i just didnt have the confidence that the car was running as well or was as quick as it should be. this remap was all it needed.
  18. to give you indication before with manual boost tee boost was set to 12 psi. would hit 12 then drop all the way down to 10psi and hold at 10psi stable after electronic boost controller (greddy profec spec b) and Toshi remap (boost limiter deleted) boost controller set to 12.5 psi and literally holding right on 12.5psi
  19. i think he meant R32s with full RB25DET conversion. no way a RB20 with RB25 turbo can make 200kw.
  20. to answer your questions you cannot compare the "drive" of my setup now and before. before it felt like shit. rough, flat spots, not a very smooth band of power at all. now it feels much more refined but at the same time injecting more power with each gear. even at low rpm on low boost feels so much smoother.
  21. dude that was so hectic. i didnt even look at the date i was thinking wtf is this person joking about ~25k for a r33 gts-t???!!! in all retrospect this was 6 years ago. you could probably pick up a 97 model for ~13 with mods. so a 10 grand drop in 8 years aint that huge i guess. these cars were sold initially i think for ~45 brand new. when you calculate depreciation that way they havent depreciated too badly. theyre just old now.
  22. i think most people with stock turbos are just that. running high boost without a tune not performing like it should. like i said my car feels like its been opened up again to its full potential like it was being held back for the last two years. could also be that people with over 200wkw havent dragged their cars and the majority that have dragged are actually making ~190 like you said hence why you probably havent seen many. but hey we can all say what we want. in the end cold hard proof is the only way to truly tell.
