pod filter, box it in to stop sucking in hot intake temps AND HAVE A SNORKEL ROUTED FROM THE FRONT BUMPER TO THE POD FILTER OTHERWISE THIS IS A USELESS MOD. stick to stock box filter if your not going to enclose the pod and route cold air into it.

which company was your mate with typevu? and they didnt notice the remap because it was in the kick panel? and the EBC he ripped out?

just saw on another site coilovers are also illegal. however someone did write off his WRX with them installed. however they werent at a rediculously low height. insurance paid out full amount. so if they were a rediculous height and just cars did find it to be the cause of the accident then they don't have to pay out.

terry is quite true to give you an example i increased the agreed value of my car with justcars from 16 thousand to 20 thousand and my premium didnt budge. so not necessarily correct.

what you mean deemed to be the cause of the accident? so for air filters, intercoolers and elec boost controllers that give a car more power and the accident was speed related insurers won't have to pay up? or for another example im from NSW im with justcars i have insured the following parts on my contract: exhaust > 90db, pod filter, intercooler pipe put through body of the car, elec bost controller the parts that are insured are illegal as per RTA rules i smack into the ass off someone anyone been in this situation before? will justcars or other insurers ass rape me for a claim?

been reading some old threads and im going out of my way to avoid insurance hassles and returning my pod filter to stock air box and changing intercooler to one that is routed back underneath rather than cutting a hole out of the body (going to reinforce the hole thats currently there for protection). however electronic boost controllers and an exhaust over 90db is defective and deemed illegal therefore unroadworthy. has anyone been rejected from insurance payouts with these mods? be interesting to hear from people who have been rejected for insurance claims when they were the ones at fault.

This isn't a joke so before mods delete im being serious. lol. i bought a skyline almost 1.5 years ago. before then i had a mitsubishi lancer CE 1.5 SOHC...yay (had to start somewhere). while i had my lancer i was a member of MLGA, hot4s, fastfours. im currently a member of nissansilvia, boost cruising and skylinesaustralia and can honestly say out of the 6 forums iv spent most of my time on this forum has easily the best crowd out of any forum. no *&%$heads, no smartasses joining threads just to cause trouble just real hardcore car enthusiasts. iv been a member for 3.5 years long before i even bought my skyline and its the longest lived membership on any forum iv been on. maybe we are an older and more mature crowd and my earlier forum attendees were very young. but iv never had a pm go unanswered, technical help is never unattended, and really everyone helps everyone out. even the traders, although a business trying to make money will still go out of there way to reply to all of their pms and quickly to lend a hand. and im sure you have all experienced this on other forums there might be one or two people answering the questions for everybody. but here everyone chips in. not sure how much this upgrade will cost you but in the group buy section look into RDA slotted dimpled rotors and EBC pads. seem to have done many a GTS-T owner justice on the streets and for track work braid the lines for better feel.

now we know sydney is definetely better than melbourne jokes from searching around on a few different car forums everything does have to be stock. i know they give S15s the hardest run out of all imports down in Victoria.
