The quick answer to your question is YES skrin3. Especially if you fit a set of 8k or 12k HID's I have 8k HID for my Low beam and i tell you... i aint going back to Halogen EVER!! When i drive in the mountains or major highways away from the city i can see far more than ever...... There is a second option that no one has suggested and that is fitting some higher wattage halogens to your high beam. (after one has done the hi/low beam both on mod) the only issue is heat i think.... Loz

Hornsby Nissan will be selling them!

Just a side note.... Mp3 will severly affect the quality of sound. CD is best. Always will be. With a new quality set up you will notice many differences in music quality over the years. Most new (06 onwards) releases have great audio range due to the quality of EQ / Compression / expansion and Harmonising tools used in the Sound recording. Now that most music studio's have the capability of recording in HD 96K the sound is just fantastic and shows (even when scaled back to fit the standard 44.1 cd) I laugh when people spend all this money on a (fully hectic) set up and then start playing an mp3 disc (cause it holds 300 songs bro)!! just my 2c Loz

It's what they call an ADR Australian Design Regulation. It states that all cars must have child restraint points. The thing is that if you sold your car and the person that bought them had a child or had children and needed to harness a seat in and there is no restraint point i must say you'd be pretty P O'd then you have to go get one installed ...etc etc etc. So really at the end of the day ... are they annoying enough for you to pull apart your rear parcel shelf to dismantle them... or just forget they are there and enjoy the POWAH of the skyline!!!! Thanks Disco. So if you were to rebuild the damaged turbo (the example is the 2530) with the Garrett wheels you would roughly get similar performance? For some reason something in the back of my mind says a "rebuilt" turbo is a safer option than used.....
-
Ok ..... thsi may sound a little vague. Here is the thought process...... I was interested in what you may think about this situation. Say i could buy an existing (eg HKS 2530) in good working order it's got some K's on it but is in great condition. or A freshly rebuilt (eg.HKS 2530) turbo. Done by a reputable company. there is minimal price difference. A: Do you reckon the fresh rebuilt turbo is the same as the original. B: Would it be a better idea to pass both up and buy brand new? C:Reckon im still better getting the 2nd hand turbo with the K's on it. (cause it's original) Thoughts?

Hi Kezza, Seems that you and CPD are experiencing similar problems, just different signs. My guess is that both computers in each case are dying or are close to it. Check with some wreckers for a HICAS unit (SSS /Just Jap/ ebay perhaps) Simple plug and play computer located in the boot on the upper inside of the boot line near the battery. Try that guys see how you go. Better yet, get a mate's car and play swapsies and see what happens..... Cheers Loz

I got lucky. My skyline was recovered from a car park in a shopping centre. My advice: Try and work out how far they could have gone with the fuel in it. Try some car parks (round near docking places for trucks and out of the way places hidden from public view) Pray on every shooting star..... Investigate the cost of insurance for next time..... I hate paying it BUT i aint ever going to run the risk again L

My New year resolution..... EASY World Domination

Was lucky enough to get my skyline back after it was nicked. Towie showed me just how easy they are to steal. Needless to say i ramped up the security measures when i (luckily) got it back. I guess all in all the story would promote this: 1 it's your car, you protect it 2 insurance is a good thing... get it! 3 do what ever you can to protect your prize posession. ie: Alarm/immobiliser first (the bov can wait) 4 Fill your car full of chicky babes.... then your seen as "Pimp master" L

So back on topic..... Reckon a majority of cruisers that hang out at the carpark in front of Australia fair are local?? (i've been living here for 6 months you'd think i'd know the name of the car park!!!!) I live near the Smith street roundabout and on Saturday night's, it's guess the import by exhaust note!!! DAmn a lot of car's go past till all hours...... Loz
